Smooth transaction. I sought inventory funding to grow our product selection. They vetted my business fairly thoroughly, more than I expected, but fairly straightforward paperwork we keep. The transaction funded quickly. We are not yet through the payment phase, but we hope to use again in the future when the needs arises.

My Opinion
Disclaimer: I just launched my first Co-op on Kickfurther for my Company Enlightening Minds LLC and I am super excited about it.
I learned of Kickfurther a little over a month ago and thought it was an ingenious idea. So I began to look into it and found all these poor Trust Pilot reviews basically saying Kickfurther is not doing it's due diligence on companies using their platform. I was truthfully worried and a little bummed out because I thought this could be perfect for our company.
So after researching them some more I gave them a call told them I was interested in potentially being part of their platform, but was concerned about all the poor reviews we had seen and would like an explanation as to what went wrong and how it has been fixed before moving forward.
The team at Kickfurther were completely transparent with me on all that had transpired. They admitted where they made mistakes in the past with evaluating companies that were trying to raise funds on their platform, as well as the way they held these companies accountable for their obligations to their kickfurther investors. As a CEO of a pretty complex company I know how thorough you need to be to evaluate a company like ours, and they made me feel confident enough that they knew what they were doing going forward, So I signed up and went through their current verification process. This included:
My Tax Returns
My Bank Statements
Phone, Video, and Photo verification
Access to my Amazon seller account
Access to my suppliers/vendors EIN's, wire transfer details, invoices, balances due, etc....
Multiple phone calls
Documentation to prove all the statements I made in my Kickfurther Co-op were accurate
Previous invoices
Health and Safety information on the products I was offering
Sales Reports
My Articles of Incorporation Documents
EIN SS4 form
And probably a bunch of stuff I forgot about, but it was a very thorough process and honestly, more thorough than the processes I go through for bank loans.
Now that we have made it through their process and funded our first co-op which I personally guaranteed --I can do this because this is not our only source of revenue or funding.-- I personally believe not only is Kickfurther going to be transformative for Enlightening Minds and other companies like it, but also for the Kickfurther investors that will be beating the stock market with their returns. I'm ecstatic to be giving the interest I usually pay to lenders and big banks, to individuals that believe in my company. A total win win in my book.

Fraud!
Fraud! I've invested with Kickfurther. What a mistake! This company is a SCAM! They do NOTHING to safeguard your investment from fraudulent companies, and when those companies don't pay as promised, they do NOTHING to try to recoup your investment. If you contact them, they ignore you. If you criticize them on their site, they delete your comments and ban you from leaving anymore comments. They took my money and now they are totally unaccountable for their negligence and fraud.

SCAM
After you invest in a "company", your money is almost to be lost permanently. Many of my co-ops failed with no payment for 10 to 30 months! No response and recovery from Kickfurther at all. The failed co-ops are just a dead silence. It is a totally scam, avoid investing any buck on Kickfurther!

Successful Campaigns Good to Deal With
We have had two successful co-ops with Kickfurther. From an administrative standpoint, they are still figuring a few things out but displayed a great deal of integrity, professional and caring. They followed up as promised. We would definitely consider doing another campaign with them.

SCAM
I too have invested in Kickfurther and have been very disappointed. Kulturpon Incorporated was a fake company whose website went down soon after they received our investment. Sockwa Corporation used the investment to buy inventory but states that the inventory we funded hasn’t sold so they have not repaid their loan. And The Mulberry Silk Company said they were having trouble selling inventory, sent inventory to Kickfurther who has sold some (the first payment took Kickfurther several months to pay because they had to “develop” a program to distribute the money). No payments since January 2017.
I have found that Kickfurther does not vet the companies that they ask you to fund. This is the biggest scam out there. They charge you to “invest” your money as well as when you want to withdraw it (if you ever get any back) It is their position that 1) They are not required to track down the owners of default companies to get them to sign a personal guarantee or enlist the help of the collection agency to try to recoup funds. 2) They are not required to file a lawsuit and use our their funds and legal resources to pursue a judgment on default companies. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Interesting idea, avoid like the plague
This business has an interesting idea, but really falls down on the job. I was an early investor (not their term, but close enough), and due to the company's early trouble vetting the vendors on their platform, it was a mess. I lost significant money.
I believe they've tightened up their vendor selection processes - not that I'd ever invest with them again - but then, when I tried to transfer the money I had left out of their service, it literally took weeks to get the bank connection established. And on top of that, they charged me a hefty fee to retrieve my own money, which was a surprise.
Steer clear. These guys are lame, and either don't care or don't empower their customer service to help.

Since they started focusing on PO …
Since they started focusing on PO backed offers, the failure rates have gone down a lot. Glad to keep funding :)
