Defective catalytic converter and…
Defective catalytic converter and terrible customer service I ordered a genuine Kia catalytic converter expecting to receive a quality OEM part. Instead, I received a defective part that arrived without the catalytic material inside. I immediately contacted customer service and provided photos and videos showing the problem. Rather than taking responsibility for a defective part they sold, they first tried to charge me a 20% restocking fee and make me pay the return shipping. After I explained that the part was defective, they changed their position and told me to take it to a Kia dealership and obtain a written inspection before they would consider helping me. This means I would have to spend my own time and money to prove that a brand-new part they sold was defective. Customer service was extremely slow to respond. Every reply took a long time, and instead of offering a reasonable solution, they kept creating more obstacles. I never asked for anything extra. I simply wanted the good OEM catalytic converter that I paid for. This has been the worst online auto parts buying experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. If you receive a defective part, do not expect them to stand behind what they sell.
