Not A Happy C.
Less than a year
Less than a year My Father bought a Keurig K-Compact Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker less than a year ago at Walmart. Coffee maker doesn't heat up and making all kinds of noises. I call customer service on March 5, 2023 spoke to one representative she said the product was discontinued because it was defective, then offered me a 20% off coupon towards the purchase of another on their website. I disagreed after stating the unit was less than one year old and I was a long time customer of their products and that her offer was unacceptable. Then the representative had another rep talk with me, he told me the product was not discontinued and asked if I had a receipt. I told him my father did not have it. He told me the product was manufactured in 2017 and since there was no receipt they go back to the date the product was manufacture and he can only offer me a 50% discount on one purchased on their website. He also told me that this model was no longer available and that there is no warranty being offered. However I seen today this day March 6, 2023 on Walmart.com and from three other retailers selling this model. It is also selling on Amazon, and Overstock. How can retailers sell a product where the manufacturer doesn’t warranty a product? Very Upset and Disappointed hopefully no other person purchase this product and then finds out when the product goes bust within the year the manufacturer doesn’t honor their warranty on their product? Also the second rep told me he would have corporate call me. The way the whole conversation happen I am not holding my breath. Do yourself a favor and purchase your product from a reliable manufacture. And what's funny Keurig claims their Keurig® brewers are high-quality appliances and, with proper care are intended to provide years of satisfying performance!
