Steer clear of this model.
I used my keurig k for 3 months. No warning, it just stopped working, wouldn't even turn on. I brought it back to Costco and was told it was the 5th one that day being returned.

Keurig® K-Duo Plus™ Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker wow - I have been asking some basic questions of keurig for months now . . . no really, months now (i have ALL the emails to prove it) - i have wasted hours of my time with their overseas contact number . . . poor line, at times difficult to understand rep . . . and i just have 4 basic questions that were NOT in their quick start guide with a new model that i had to take out a HELCO loan to purchase (the ONLY doc i got with my most recent/3rd keruig purchase BTW!), and no one in management can give me 5 minutes to answer my questions . . . they have no local 2nd product support, really? no, i guess not, as they say to call their support number, EVERY TIME!! - after i have pleaded with them (yes, pleaded) to just answer my question wow! i bought one a mere 18 months ago, a model for my kid, and they replied to my written questions accurately, completely and promptly that time what gives now? must be a new bean counter in town, huh?!?!? sacrifice the almighty customer support for a few extra bucks - when has that EVER worked over time? NEVER well, i understand the ninja model is just as good, and it's cheaper hope this helps someone have a wonderful day

I had contacted keurig on 5/11 due to error code 2 popping up with every cup we brew. Didn't matter the size or brand. At first, the young lady seemed to care. She proved it was a bad coffee maker through trouble shooting. Wouldn't even make hot water. She gave me 3 simple things to do; 1st, take a picture of the s/n. 2nd, take a pic of the brewer sitting on a hand written piece of paper with my name, address, service number. I did all they required. Then I got an email stating they couldn't accept it and I'd have to send it in. It's already been several days since I've had coffee. We are handicap here. They didn't care. I had no way to mail them anything. I had no box to ship it in. They refused to mail the new maker to allow me to ship the old maker back in the box. Several emails and pictures were sent to keurig. Finally, I refused to speak with the girl now the 15th of May. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Then they agreed to send the coffee maker and allow me to mail the old one back. I am not asking for any kind of special treatment from them. But understanding to our circumstances would of been nice. I can promise you I will NEVER have another $240 keurig in my home! What a waste of money! Everytime I sent an email, they couldn't accept it. And then, when I gave them more than they asked for, they changed the rules. Now they want a date of the troubleshooting with them. So apparently registration of your device when you get it doesn't prove ownership. You have to write out a note and send a picture. So apparently calling in and troubleshooting a device keurig doesn't keep track of it so you need to include on a hand written note what day you called to troubleshoot it. So apparently telling them you have no control of your hands and are unable to write and ask them if you can type it out and print it, they can't accept that. So apparently when you ask to speak with a supervisor, they refuse and agree to do what they should of done 4 days ago.

I ordered some stuff and I made a account and my order didn't show up. And I bought some stuff that didn't show up on the order along with no receipt within the package. I paid $44.00 and I feel I got screwed out of this. Also stop using a call center. They have no way to keep track of the orders besides going to your account geezz get your crap together.

Signed up for a coffee subscription for my Mom who loved the Kahlua coffee. When I was told by hospice that my mother only had a couple days left I canceled the auto delivery (she still had 70+ pods left). Imagine my surprise when a month after she died I get charged for ANOTHER auto delivery. Do NOT setup a coffee subscription with Keurig.

Purchase the Keurig Iced, hot/cold from Keurig.com. For the past 3 years, I've been using my mini Keurig without issue. I decided to upgrade to the new Keurig because it has a water reservoir. The new machine is made of flimsy plastic. The plastic is so weak that when trying to brew a cup, the pressure causes the top to open. I use refillable pods. At first, I thought the issue was caused by my pods having too much coffee. I then tried a pod with 1 T of grinds, instead of the 2 I normally use. Unfortunately, the top still popped open from the pressure. I contacted Keurig and I'm currently waiting for a new machine. I am leaving this review on trust pilot, because I was unable to leave one on Keurig.com. Amazon was also blocking reviews from those who did not purchase directly thru AMZ.

We are now on our fourth Keurig Duo and they want to send me a fifth. I want my money back instead. Four replacement coffee makers within the one-year warranty period. Why would I want another Keurig with this track record? They have a defective design and will not admit it. Told me they can't do a refund because I purchased the original unit from Amazon. I kept asking if they manufactured the unit and why they will not stand behind their products. They wanted to send me another one of these units. Do not buy Keurig.

I love Keurig. More accurately, I USED to love Keurig. Purchased my first Keurig pod coffeemaker back in about 2004 when they first became available on the home market. I had that first machine for at least 10 years, before finally deciding to retire it and upgrade. As I recall, the biggest difference was that the new machine had a much larger water tank capacity. And, I loved it also. I can’t even count all the people I sold on Keurig during those years. That machine, too, was a high-quality, well built coffeemaker that served me well for many years. Then they came out with the K-Café series that did it all. Not only could I make regular coffee, I could also froth milk and make lattes, cappuccinos, et al. The only problem with it was the frother didn’t froth. I was run on some weird magnetic system with no which or moving parts and merely made warm milk, but very little froth. I wasn’t happy, especially after the $200+ price tag, but I still loved the Keurig coffee and just bought a separate frother to use with it. Unfortunately, the build quality was going downhill fast and the machine died exactly 2 months after the 1-year warranty ended. Being stupid, and still liking Keurig, I justified that I had merely gotten a lemon and replaced it with another of the same model. After about a year, it was still working, but they came out with a new model with a redesigned frother that had a whisk system and was a “smart” coffeemaker that would run with my home wifi. I jumped head first and laid out another $250. I was pleased at the ease of setup and had it completely up and running in mere minutes. (My entire home is automated and connected via wifi, every wall switch and plug, my TV’s, sound systems, major appliances, window blinds, security system and cams, etc. All told, I have over 75 items in my house hooked up via wifi (with a very strong wifi system) and would consider myself to be an expert at configuring it all.) Anyway, I digress. While the new Keurig setup in minutes, I quickly found the quality of the newly-designed frother gave results not much better than the old one. Fine, I still had my separate frother, but at least the new Keurig was automated. And it worked fine….for it’s entire lifetime of 2 months and 10 days. I immediately called customer support and got a very nice offshore rep, who proceeded to run me through all the troubleshooting that I had performed before calling. She then informed me that I had a defective machine, but not to worry as Keurig would get me a replacement immediately. I just had to jump through a few hoops and supply them with purchase invoice, proof of delivery and pics of the machine, including one pic of the machine with my name, date and service request number, all handwritten on a pice of paper in the pic with the machine, plus a pic of the miniscule serial number on the back of the machine. I followed her directions to the letter and got it all sent off to them within an hour or so. That’s when the fun began. A short while later I received an email telling me I had not fulfilled their requirements correctly and they could not process the replacement. I immediately wrote back, asking for a clarification, as I had done EXACTLY as instructed. No answer, so I wrote again. No answer. The third time, I sent a very upset and long letter demanding an answer. Still, nothing. Then, out of the blue, I receive a return shipping label for my own machine, which I had been previously told I was to use once my new machine arrived. I wrote asking about that. Again, silence. So, I called again and was told a replacement team had approved my warranty replacement and a new machine had been shipped. When asked why I had not been notified and just left hanging, the rep offered no answer. The new machine arrived quickly and, before even setting it up, I packed the defective machine in the mew machine’s box and had it ready for UPS. Then I went to setup the new machine. It would not setup at all. I spent over an hour trying to get it to setup and nothing. So, I called in again and the offshore rep ran me through all the troubleshooting I had already spent an hour doing. She finally gave in and said it obviously had a problem she was unable to handle and she would have to escalate it to a higher tech level and they would call me the next day. Late the next day, I got an email informing me they were unable to contact me as their number was blocked. Interesting, as I had turned off all my screening and call blocking on my phone to make sure I wouldn’t miss their call. I wrote back and told them that and to call again. This happened 3 times. They never did get me. Though, it wouldn’t have mattered as I had found this machine to be even more defective than the first. It wouldn’t even allow me to make a cup of coffee manually. So, they had replaced my defective unit with an even more defective unit.
