I was very surprised that so much was taken out in upfront fees. My loan was for $9,000.00, but $705.00 was taken out in these fees. I was not told about this charge before the loan was in place. That's almost 8%.

Hi Kenneth. We are sorry to hear about your experience. At Strategic, we ensure our customers are aware of and agree to the fees: first through a merchant's initials on the contract and then verbally through our funding call prior to wiring funds. Our notes indicate that you agreed by phone and also signed your initials on the fee page of the contract. We apologize for any confusion.
