Disappointing
The mask itself came as ordered. I also ordered extra hydrogel masks (which turned out to be woefully small). I'm 6'3" and athletic so bear that in mind when I complain about the mask size. The straps are incredibly awkward to use when putting the mask on. The hole that the ends go into can be a real struggle. The nose area is what has now made this useless to me. The hard material around the nose presses down on the bridge of my nose and there's no way to remedy it. After a session, the area that presses down on the bridge of the nose becomes red and inflamed. There's an actual indent where the mask presses down. Because the material won't accept tape, I can't even use something (cotton, etc) under it to alleviate the pressure. I now have a fissure on my nose bridge which is why I have to discontinue use. The eye piece inserts that came with the unit don't fit at all. Just a really, really poor design for anyone over an average size. Something they don't mention on their website. The piece de resistance is that after a couple months of use, I have noticed almost zero difference in complexion, firmness or an increase in collagen (which would modify the first two). Overall, the sellers of the mask talk a good talk but fail to deliver what they promise. Again, very disappointing. And perhaps more useful to someone of smaller stature.
