About K9 Ballistics

We’re in the business of creating the world’s longest-lasting and highest-quality dog beds and gear, with a commitment to the well being of our people, pets, and planet. Our beds—both firm, supportive orthopedic styles and softer pillow styles are manufactured in-house at our California facility, using CertiPUR-US certified foam to ensure quality and longevity. Our beds are backed by a 120 Day Chew Proof Warranty that protects against any dog related damage, as well as a 10 Year Won't Flatten warranty that covers any loss of mattress support. We offer two styles of durable bedding—our Tough Ripstop, which is designed to withstand digging, scratching, and roughhousing, as well as everyday wear and tear and occasional light chewing, and our Chew Proof Armored beds, which are powerful beds engineered to withstand heavy, powerful, persistent, or anxious chewing behaviors. In addition to our beds, we also offer a variety of collars, harness, seat covers, and more to ensure you have everything you need for your pup. Check us out today!

READ BEFORE BUYING!
I ordered a medium crate bed based on K9 Ballistics’ claim that it “fits standard wire crates.” It does not. My crate measures 36 x 22, and the bed measures 35 x 22, yet it would not fit as advertised. I also paid extra to personalize the bed based on those measurements. The order arrived late, and when I contacted customer service, I was met with repeated references to policy rather than any attempt to resolve the issue. For a $150 product, this experience was unacceptable. The bed was misrepresented, the service was unhelpful, and the company refused to stand behind its product. I will not purchase from K9 Ballistics again and cannot recommend them.

We're sorry for the trouble and the experience you had! We hope that our manager was able to get this resolved to your satisfaction, but if you still need any assistance please don't hesitate to let our team know.

Just throw your money out the window
Nothing is made the way it used to be anymore. If I'm gonna pay $120 for a super durable dog bed, I want it to at least last a few years. It didn't even last close to 1. I bought this at the tail end of October, it's now the beginning of May and j need to spend more money in a different one. Bs.
Response from K9 BallisticsMay 6, 2026
We're sorry for the trouble, Margaret! Different beds have different durability levels, so if you do happen to have a more destructively inclined pup, we'd recommend investing in one of our Chew Proof Armored style beds for the best longevity. With that said, please reach out to our customer care team at [email protected] regarding the damaged bed so that we can make this right for you!

Chewed in 3 hours, no warranty
Like others, my lab puppy chewed a corner of the bed and some internal foam within 3 hours the first time left alone with it a short time. The warranty sounds guaranteed, but they would not replace bed or cover. Only gave a "store credit". Well that was a joke, my wife went back on to order something a short time later and found the credit had already expired, which the company failed to mention it's only good for a few days. Sad, bunch of money down the drain. If your dog is a chewer, this bed wont hold up unfortunately, don't waste your money, not built tough at all and warranty is no good.
Response from K9 BallisticsApr 20, 2026
We're sorry for any confusion, James! The warranty allows for replacement or store credit for the value of the item, so if you'd rather have the replacement instead of the credit, all you have to do is let us know and we can switch that around. If you want to stick with the credit, that's fine too. The code lasts for 30 days but can be renewed at any time if you don't use it within that time frame—just shoot us a quick email at info@k9ballistics with your order info (or call us at 844-772-3125) and we can get that refreshed for you!

Purchased a herding ball
Purchased a herding ball, the ball will not hold air. Reached out to the company, no assistance. Called customer service again, no support provided, asked for a supervisor, none are available to take the call. A brand new product was shipped to me DEFECTIVE and my only recourse is to accept it. Lost a longtime customer.
Response from K9 BallisticsNov 10, 2025
We're sorry for any trouble or misunderstanding! Our customer service team typically needs a photo or video of a reported defect in order to best assist with diagnosing the cause of the issue and resolving it, which is why they requested that from you in order to proceed. Since you weren't able to provide that, it looks like the team just went ahead and ordered a full replacement for you about two hours ago, which should resolve whatever that initial defect was. However, if you encounter any further issues with the ball, please don't hesitate to let us know.

My dog chewed up the corners of the crate bed. The corners were zip tied down and my dog ripped off the zip ties and chewed through the corners of the bed. The bed cannot be used now!!
Response from K9 BallisticsSep 15, 2025
We're sorry to hear that the bed was chewed! Don't forget that we have a 120 day warranty—you can visit our online portal here: https://k9ballisticswarranties.returnscenter.com/ to submit a claim for a replacement, or you can send an email directly to our customer care team at [email protected] if you prefer to get warranty credit to apply towards a different item.

I bought the herding ball and within 10 minutes it popped! Yes, I followed the directions. Also, the harness I bought was supposed to fit my dog and it does not at all!!! You can tighten it, but it will not stay that way! Do not buy!!!
Response from K9 BallisticsSep 15, 2025
We're sorry to hear that you haven't been satisfied with your items! The herding ball isn't chew proof, so it can be damaged if your dog manages to get a good enough grip to bite or chew on it. However, it should hold up well under most other circumstances, so if this was not caused by your dog chewing it, please reach out to our customer care team at [email protected] for assistance. They can also assist with the harness issue if it isn't staying adjusted.

Website malfunction doubled my order
Their website malfunctioned and added a bunch of extra products to my order. Then they ignored my email attempts to correct it until the duplicate items had already been embroidered, now claiming that they weren't returnable. They don't respond to their emails or texts until they accidently pick up the phone on you. Update: Once I threatened with California Consumer Protection laws, they "found" a way to make the accounting work to get me the refund I was due.
Response from K9 BallisticsAug 22, 2025
We're sorry for the trouble, Brenden, but it does look like we were able to get those extra items removed from your order and we were able to refund the embroidered one in the end. The reason it took longer to get a response was because you had tried to contact us through the no-reply email address, rather than our [email protected] email, but we definitely understand and regret the frustration this caused you.

SCAM COMPANY
Ordered an Xtra large dog bed from K9. Bed was late arriving and had to contact the company several times before the bed was finally delivered. I also ordered an additional xtra large dog bed cover which has not been received despite sending multiple messages and emails. They have now blocked me on Facebook and I have been contacted independently by several people who have placed orders and not received the goods. Be warned this is a scam company who will take your money then shut you down. I will be reporting to Trading Standards and my bank. I have also notiFIED Facebook as they advertise on the Facebook site. DO NOT BUY SCAM COMPANY
Response from K9 BallisticsAug 22, 2025
Hi Gail! We're sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience, and we hope your issues have since been resolved. We don't have any orders in our system under your name, so we're wondering if you perhaps ordered from K9 Comfort or a UK-based company under the name K9 Beds? If so, this is a completely different company from us (we are K9 Ballistics, located in the US), and we aren't able to look into this further for you. However, if you did order from K9 Ballistics, feel free to reach out to our customer care team at [email protected] or by phone at 844-772-3125 and we'll do our best to assist.
