This is an addendum to my first post. I was told in writing that I would receive a tax deduction list 14 business days after the final pickup ..I never did. I contacted the company but was told not one item was donatable. I had a floor table saw, moveable table saw, wood lathe, numerous hand tools, sockets, wrenches, battery powered nail gun, metal desk, gas powered push mower, garden tools, and much more. Last contact was told there was a "unnamed" donation list that had many of the items I donated. Have not received any list after 5 weeks. I paid $1970.00 for the removal. They do not take ANY liquids, solvents, oils, anything in an aerosol can, fire extinguisher which is fine. I had hoped that the useable items would have been useful to a tax deduction.

Malik and his partner were a fantastic help! The elevator in our building had broken the night before they arrived. They still emptied our apartment so fast, despite the 5 floor walk-up, and didn't even charge us extra. Great service!

I hired Junk Luggers to remove four pieces of furniture from a single room. They charged $265 for two pieces — roughly 10 minutes of work carrying items to the curb. The full job would have been $400 for about 15 minutes of labor. When I objected, the work was already partially done, which is exactly how this pricing model works: by the time you understand what you're being charged, items are already at the road and you're negotiating from a losing position. Here's what I want every potential customer to understand: their pricing is based on volume, not effort. A bulky item that could be dismantled into a small pile in five minutes gets billed as a full bulky item. Dismantling furniture is trivial for a company that does this all day — but they will not volunteer to do it, because bulk is how they charge you more. Before you book them or anyone like them: Ask if any item can be dismantled — then do it yourself first. A disassembled bed frame or desk costs a fraction of an intact one. Get the total price in writing before a single item is touched. Do not let work begin on a verbal ballpark. Get quotes from 1-800-GOT-JUNK, local independent haulers, or your town's bulk pickup — many municipalities take furniture at the curb for free or a small fee. I later called to discuss the charge and never received a call back, which tells you how much they value customers after the credit card clears. $265 for 10 minutes. Do the math on that hourly rate and decide for yourself.

The team was friendly, efficient & kept me informed of everything they were doing. The price was very reasonable & I like their commitment to recycling. They were terrific.

(I am reviewing the JunkLuggers in NJ) I had used another junk removal company in the past, but this was my first time using Junkluggers—and the experience was outstanding. Tyler and Naz showed up and were nothing short of amazing. They worked efficiently, removed everything I needed, and even double-checked to make sure nothing was left behind. They were professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and they made what could have been a stressful cleanup feel easy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Junkluggers again and would HIGHLY recommend them—especially if you’re lucky enough to get Tyler and Naz! A+
