I highly recommend June Homes. In an expensive area like Boston, it can be difficult to find an affordable place to live. June Homes is an affordable option that allows flexibility to lease a unit for a time frame that you need without having to find roommates to split a lease. The cleanliness is kept to an acceptable level with their cleaning services. Also, their team responds in a timely manner to your requests.

I lived in two homes for the duration of one year with June homes. They helped me find a house (twice) with certain perimeters like rent and are of town free of charge. I had to live with people I didn’t know prior but the houses were always nice and the roommates pleasant. When something broke in the home June homes always fixed it. The best part of June homes is the people you work with, they will help you any day of the work week.

(1) They will try to charge you for every damage in the apartment - including the ones that you report, and including ones that are in neighboring apartment! (2) They will add half a dozen fees in addition to the price that you see for the apartment advertised on the website, making the price as much as 50% higher in reality. And that doesn't even include utility charges that will be billed to you at a later time. (3) They are worse than car salesmen in their tactics and practices. When you have a call with the sales agent, they give you the impression that they are very concerned and responsive about everything, and the salespeople answer the phone right away. But as soon as you sign the contract, everything turns 180 degrees and they become a complete nightmare to deal with. (4) Junehomes is shi*ty company. I have been with them for three weeks already and have had problems almost every day. They take more than a week to address even emergency problems and you have to send them 5 tickets before they do anything about it. Moreover, they say they would reimburse you for up to $20 of supplies, and "hand soap" is listed as one of them, yet when I bought soap bar, they said it's not "hand soap". They are a total scam and scumbags. Avoid at all costs dealing with them.

That process exists to ensure consistency, though we acknowledge it can be frustrating in practice. The June Homes team is amazing. They were so patient, kind, knowledgeable and supportive through the process of not only finding an apartment suitable, but being approved and ready to move in. Always reachable, friendly, and so helpful. It can be a distressing process to find an apartment, and I felt completely supportive and like I had them in my corner. Always flexible and never pushy, it made NYC residential rental a breeze. Not to mention fast and efficient. I love this customer service team, the application process and the company as a whole.
