Quality
Loved the look and ease of the harness. But I've only been using it for 2 months and my pup has chewed through the chest strap. And the back part already has worn holes in the material. The quality of the harness has not held up at all

Hi Amy, Thank you for your feedback. It does appear your harness is from November. We do not advertise the harness to be chew proof. We do now offer a lifetime warranty. This would cover an over achiever chewer. Since our regular warranty does not cover chew damage.

Our dog got out twice and we had to…not escape proof
Our dog got out twice and we had to stop using it. Advertising that it is escapeproof is misleading. She is a 67 pound Lab mix.

Small size too bulky
I had this harness for a previous dog in medium and really liked in. My new rescue dog is little and the small harness barely seems smaller than the medium harness. It fits but it’s pretty bulky. The buckle is way to big for a small and after 4 walks rubbed her raw. I won’t be using again on my small dog, but would consider on a larger dog.

Hi Marla, Your dog's comfort is very important to us and something we kept in mind when designing the Joyride Harness. If the buckle is rubbing, then we believe that harness needs to be adjusted for proper sizing and fit. If there is any friction or rubbing behind the leg then we recommend loosening up the front Velcro strap, so the harness sits further back on the dog. This should create enough distance between the buckle and the leg. Hopefully this helps!

Unfortunately
Unfortunately, my dog was able to back out of the harness. She is shaped like a whippet (large chest but narrow waist). Well made but not good for every breed.

The concept is good however it is very heavy, also my pup got a hold of it a chewed it and after I noticed about 3 mins. He had it chewed into pieces it lasted 10 mins

The harness does Not prevent pulling
The harness does Not prevent pulling. In fact, it made it worse! We had to stop using it. The only upside, is it’s easy to put on and take off.

Hi Lori, I am sorry to hear about this. We were unaware you were having issues. We would have been happy to share some tips / tricks with you. The side ring technology on this harness is what makes it a great training tool, especially for dogs who are fearful or hyperactive or hard to train. It didn't stay in the place I put it
It didn't stay in the place I put it, every time I put it on my dog it was to big, I had to get someone to sew it together so it wouldn't keep slipping. So now I was not happy paying that much for a harness that didn't help his pulling.
