Being a dog parent is one of the most rewarding things and we understand that fully because we are dog parents ourselves. Our relationship with our dogs is important and there’s no better way to strengthen that bond than through something we already do with them daily: Walks. That passion for our very own fur babies and helping other dog parents is what created Joyride Harness and forged our products.Today, we remain a tightknit family-ownedbusiness.🐶USA Owned & Operated

Love the harness but both harnesses for both dogs are too big. I needed them for a trip so I couldn’t return, I love them, just wish I had the right size.

The harness is great for reducing how much our lab pulls. The only problem is that he can easily slip out of it by backing up.

The Joyride harness worked fairly well with my two 8-month old Llewelyn Setters. It controls them well but unfortunately did not stop them from pulling as I would have hoped. It does make it easier on the arms though because you control the pups body rather than the neck(traditional collar).

Mostly the two harnesses we bought are fine. I used your "preferred" way to size them. They seem a bit large, but fit ok when tightened as much as possible. I would advise that if someone's dog is in between your recommendations, they should go with the smaller size. The small one works well. The larger one appears to have the belt threaded improperly. The end that is inserted flops around which doesn't happen on the small one. I'm not sure I've described this very well. The girls are finally learning to put their heads in. The clips are rather hard to open and time hasn't loosened that at all. They do look very nice even if a bit large.

The Joyride harness is very sturdy and works well, but I find that the strap that goes under the chest is too thick and rubs my dogs front legs and causes him to be uncomfortable/stop walking. I think the smaller sized harnesses could benefit from a narrower strap. Thanks!

My husband and I both love the Joyride harness. They're very easy to take on and off. I do wish they came in more designs. My only issue is I have to adjust the strap every other day or two, but it is not a big issue that would prevent me from purchasing more harnesses. We own 6 of them.

We'd like to give this 5 stars but there are a few things that don't work well for our dog. Positives: Our 70 lb husky/pit mix, Annie, can't pull out of it like she can a collar, and when she pulls hard, it is against her chest, not her throat, so there's no wheezing. That alone makes buying this product worth it. She loves people, but doesn't like other dogs, and we especially love the handle on the back of the harness, so that if she lunges at a dog, we can lift her front feet off the ground and control her much more easily than with a standard leash and collar. Also, this harness is just cute. Annie is adorable in it, and people often comment on how pretty she is when wearing it. Negatives: Our dog has sensitive skin and is not that comfortable in it; she tries to rub it off on walls and on the ground when wearing it. We have tried adjusting the straps many times. She still likes it, gets excited when she sees us pulling it off the hook to go somewhere, and doesn't avoid wearing it, so it's not that bad, but clearly it irritates her somewhat. I think using a strapping material with softer edges than webbing as straps might help? Maybe trimming the edges of the webbing with a softer material? Lastly, it does not keep her from pulling, as advertised. We have tried putting the leash on all three rings, and she still pulls, although it does offer better control than a collar does. All in all, we're happy enough with the purchase, and use it frequently. We would recommend it to other dog owners to improve your overall dog walking experience and your dog's safety in terms of not compressing their throat & airway when pulling, having better control of the dog, and not slipping the lead. Just don't expect it to solve pulling issues if your dog has them.
