Hey, Patty - We're sorry to hear that our harness did not work out for you. We definitely recommend a snug fit, only about a finger width of space beneath each strap to keep even the little escape artists secure. Please also keep in mind that we offer returns for up to 60 days after an order is received if you are not happy with your item. We have restocked on the Teal color. I am very sorry no one explained we were going through a restock on our limited edition colors. I would be happy to send you the correct harness.
