Generally an excellent product. Both my dogs, a Westie and a Yorkipoo can slip their harnesses, mainly because the are both big chested, and I have had one buckle break. I have four or five harnesses so I can leave harnesses in both my cars, so my general impression is quite positive.

Like it a lot but it is abit bulkier then I expected. The connection clamp is hart to hard to open. However overall it works great.

Easiest one to put on. Love the fit. I’ve had it come open twice tho when I was in front of my dog. Was scary. Maybe should check it out.

Love it for my senior dog. Have an issue with the puppy. Fits perfectly but have had several days that I take her out and discover that somehow she gets one of her legs through. I have to keep her and me calm to get her leg back to release her. Nothing wrong with the fit so do not know how this happens. Never happened with my fist 2"

I really love this harness because it is very, very easy to put on the dog and it is very sturdy and well built. The only downside that they need to fix is that the main strap that goes under his chest has a tendency to loosen up after several uses and needs to be pulled snug regularly. They need to solve that problem and they’ll have a perfect harness.

Hey, Jon - Thank you so much for the feedback! Sorry to hear that your strap is giving you troubles! The strap should stay fixed in place once adjusted. Please keep in mind that we offer a 365 day warranty on our harnesses which will cover defects. If you could reply back here with your order number and the item in question, we'd be happy to get that taken care of. Or feel free to email us at [email protected].

The pugs life harness I purchased befor this harness has been the best for my 12.5 lb. Jack Russel Chihuahua mix. This joy ride harness seems the same but my little 7 lb Chihuahua is always backing right out of it. I HAVE ADJUSTED IT SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS, but he always manages to back out of it when he is scared. I have cinched down the body as small as it will go. I'M still using it cause it is all I have, but he is almost a year old and don't see him getting any bigger. I still think the pug harness is the best on the market.

The side clasp has the potential to pinch your dog. It happened to me once. I’m very careful now when putting it on my dog. Now I just pinch my fingers.

A well made, sturdy harness. My only complaint is that my havanese still pulls.
