Joyride HarnessReviews of joyrideharness.com

prior to purchasing, I wrote an inquiry email to pugharness on whether or not this would be effective for a Great Dane, I have a 140 lb one. I NEVER heard back from anyone, I decide to go ahead and make the purchase anyways. Not to effective for a large breed, they are too strong and with the harness it's hard to control when they lunge forward. We went back to the "choke" collar For my 45 lb lab mix, it works great. Just wish I would have gotten a reply prior to making the purchase, therefore, the "average" rating thanks

My dogs are small & they didn’t fit well on them.

I think the harness I received is nice n made well. I was however not pleased with my interaction with the seller. I have an elderly pug that needs help getting up and has to be carried up and down steps n on n off furniture. I made several attempts to ask if this was an actual lift harness. I have a bad back n need the extra few inches a lift harness would give so I can get her from the floor into my arms. They literally never answered my question. They answered me once but it was as though they didn't even take the time to read my short email and their response was about something completely different and not helpful at all. I needed the harness asap and it's not the lift type even though it has a handle. I sent three emails asking the same question which wasn't hard to understand. Ultimately I kept the harness n can't afford to buy another n it's a done deal. They should take more care in their responses. This was important.

It's been over a week and no harness If they are having trouble filling or mailing the order a little communication would be nice.

I purchased three harnesses in all. I thought they were really kind of cool. Just a couple of problems: 1- no matter how tight I could get them my dog was always able to slip out of them. 2- if I left it on her to make it quicker and easier to hook her up she was able to chew her way out of them. Rendering them useless. They were quite expensive, but if you can solve those two problems I would consider purchasing another.

the harness fits quickly over my dog's head, but it is difficult to fasten without pinching since he has longer hair (shih tsu). I also think the harness is too heavy due to all the hardware...we use only the top clip and wish we could remove the others...maybe make this an option in purchasing. It is quite well made.

The harness looks great on my Siberian, Panda Bear, but he still tends to pull at times. The harness strap that goes under his chest and clips eventually loosens, and I have to readjust it. Wish it would hold better.

Decent product, not anything more than you'd find at a regular pet shop though and zero customer service. I've reached out twice and have never heard back.
