The harness was good but the straping was to close to my dogs front legs and they cut his skin and it got infected..Took 2 months and $600 to get his leg healed from it...Never will I buy that type of harness again...

I have four dogs and have purchased four harnesses. Three work great. The one for my dachshund doesn’t work very well. No matter what I do the strap that goes under comes loose. He’s gotten out of his harness twice. I’ll probably go back to using his old one. At least it works.

Harness review. Background Information: My dog, Marlin, is an 80 pound Golden Retriever with a number of obedience titles, so a well trained and not an aggressive breed. Initial feelings about the product: At first I was very pleased that his pulling me down the path had declined. The way the harness attaches to the seatbelt strap is exceptional. Mid-way thru my experience: Once the side loop had broken off and in theory this loop was to redirect his energy the pulling has gotten worse since I had to attach the leash to the top loop. By the way, the side loop separated after two months walks (we walk every day at least once sometimes more) so I was not too pleased with the quality of materials or workmanship. Current feelings: My shoulders felt as if they had gotten stretched after a walk as his pulling is severe at times especially when he sees a rabbit or a person he is fond. Bottom Line: I suspect for a toy breed or a dog that does not develop so much torque at take-off the harness would be fine. I have actually stopped using the harness and have returned to an alternate brand. Sorry but facts, experience and perception are my reality.

Look, fit and ease of use was great. BUT.....the most important thing is the security of your dog. The plastic clip that attaches the belt is very easily pulled apart. I have tugged the leash and it comes apart. I have found the harness in the yard where my pup had popped it open. Great idea but the clip needs to be metal. I cannot recommend this to any one who’s dog has any pull power at all.

The harness started fraying less than a month after purchase. I continued to use for a bit, but went to the pet store and got something else.

I tried this harness on my 55lb Staffie. He is very good on the leash. During a walk, the clip on the side came undone. I told him to stop, he did and I clip the leash to his collar. I dont like clips, I prefer buckles. I almost lost a malinois because of a clip.

My dog is so smart that she was able to get loose in this harness. Easy to put on but am uncertain of its function. As advertised that it's a no pull, my dog still pulls. :(
