Joyride HarnessReviews of joyrideharness.com

The dog harness itself I thought was good design, but they have never sent the extra lighted dog tag. I believe this may be a Chinese company or a foreign company. Had no phone number when we tried to call.

It’s a pretty color and probably would work best with larger dogs. I bought a small for my 12.5lb dog and she manages to get out of it and actually pulled through it multiple times in the car with the car leash attachment and almost ran off. Constantly adjusting it. I adjusted the tightest and she still managed to slip through. Not recommended - I bought a Kong harness and no slipping and it’s sturdier than joyride. Maybe put strap under chest.

Ordered a harness and paid extra for expedited shipping. It took a month to receive and shipped only after I send an email weeks after I placed the order. Poor communication. The harness is decent but nothing special.

I bought three of these for our three Boston Terriers. They're "OK", but I'd definitely never call them "the best". A couple of beefs I have: - The front strap is secured with velcro (yuck!) which I (and my dogs) HATE. Never would have bought these had I realized that. - The belly strap doesn't seem to stay at the length you adjust it to, it needs to be re-tightened nearly every time we put the harnesses on. - It irks me that Joyride suppresses bad (or maybe just "non glowing"...) reviews on their website. I wrote this exact same info in response to their email asking for reviews, and it's no where to be found on their site. - It also bothers me that they continually (via email and on their website) inundate you with "Sale ends TODAY! Order NOW!", but the same message is on their site every day for the last 3 or 4 months. Is it REALLY a sale if it's always in effect?? And half off a ridiculous price isn't really a bargain, it's still a fair-to-expensive price for an average harness. - Tip for those thinking of buying more than one: Only order one -- they'll immediately give you an offer for a reduced price on a second one. - Delivery times were ridiculously long. It took more than 2 weeks to get ours, and their foolish website 'tracking' didn't provide any useful information about when we could expect our shipment until AFTER the harnesses finally had been delivered.

Very well made, and good communication about shipping, etc. Disappointed in the harness itself. It fits well, better than other harnesses we've tried. But it doesn't keep my dog (45lbs husky mix) from pulling, regardless of which leash attachment point used. In that sense, it doesn't work any better than other, less expensive products. Additionally despite it fitting snugly, when holding the harness by the handle, the dog can pull itself out of the harness (still trying to figure out how she managed that).

I got a harness from Joyride. The first harness was too small so I sent it back. The 2nd one took about 6 weeks to get to Albuquerque. I even started a dispute procedure because customer support heard from the carrier that I'd received it even when I hadn't. Then one day I got a text from the carrier that said it was delivered and it was in my mail box. It's a really nice harness. It's the first no pull harness that is really no pull. It does have a flaw though. It hurts my dog's "elbow." I had to remake it. The buckle scraped his elbow raw. Poor little guy. Other than that I have no complaints.

My dog hates this harness more than anything in the world. I was so excited to get it for him because a friend said she loves it. Well, we can't even get it in him because he hates that it goes over his head. It takes a good 10mona for us to even get it on him. Definitely not good for all dogs. I'm actually really upset that he doesn't like it. Such a nice harness.

This harness is not true to advertised size, more difficult to fit, especially Velcro portion which is way way way too long and warranty voided if you trim it. The clip belt portion under belly loosens itself as dogs walk. We have a slim dog and chubby dog, bought two different sizes and both dogs have managed to slip out after tightening and tightening and tightening. All my dogs had to do was breath out and walk and that clip belt loosened.
