Cons outweigh pros
Pros: Lightweight, very easy to put on. Looks like it will hold up well. Cons: Thin strap fits too high on chest, occasionally choking my 20 lb dog. Nylon strap too slick; I have to readjust it every time I put it on. Customer support way too slow to blame on pandemic. Had to return one of two for exchange. Said to print out postage paid label, but web site failed and I had to pay my own postage. Long delayed email responses always vague.

The harness as advertised was easy to…
The harness as advertised was easy to put on but the belly strap does not stay in place. The strap has a shiny surface which allows the tightening buckle to slide and get very loose. The top of the harness then slides to the dog's side. The only way to prevent it from sliding would be to pin it in place which isn't a great idea. Very glad I didn't buy two of them.

Does NOT work for hard pullers
This harness does NOT work for dogs that pull hard and the velco piece at the chest area doesn’t make senese as I can see that weakening over time and the dog would be able to get loose. I have a medium size dog that pulls hard and this vest did not do anything different than a regular vest I was previously using. I finally found one I bought on Amazon that was cheaper and works. It has a latch on the chest area that controls him better. The Joyride harnesses needs to make improvements. Also, they charge you to return the product.

Harness held up well for several…
Harness held up well for several months... then began to fray around the connection between the straps and material. Need to have mended. Loved it when it was new!

The harness itself is ok
The harness itself is ok, I think it’s a little too stiff for my dog. It didn’t fit him correctly even though I measured exactly as told. I returned it WITH the tags attached, my dog never wore it I just tried it on him. The return process is ridiculous. I received half of what I paid with them deducting shipping and a restocking fee. Why a restocking fee? I think it’s crazy, they should pay for shipping regardless because you pay for shipping both ways. No I wouldn’t recommend I would say look in stores near your home it will be less expensive in the long run and less of a hassle.

For exchanges, you will get a free return label to send the harness back to us. All refunds will be provided in full MINUS THE SHIPPING FEE. We cannot refund the shipping fee UNLESS the order was a mistake on our part. Returns sent back for a refund are also subject to a $7.95 restocking fee which covers the cost to get the harness back to us. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

While the harness is very cute the…
While the harness is very cute the strap around the rib cage area never stays in place. it loosens up each time I use and my dog escapes. I would not purchase this again.

The harness itself is fine
The harness itself is fine, nothing great, just ok. However, their customer service through messaging is crummy. When you begin to complain about something (shipping in my case) the conversation turns to defensive and "let me get you someone else to assist."

The “perfect fit” is only temporary.
The harness is nice and easy to put on. The buckle clicks tightly (hard to get off but that is fine). The chest strap is too slick and loosens on its own. This is a defect in the design. I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement but it’s the same material and still the same issue. I have to use some Velcro attachments to get it to stay in the right place. It’s also not good for running based on where it falls - can cause chafing. It’s good for walks once you ensure safety in the sizing with the chest strap.

I am sorry you are experiencing this. This sounds like you might have received a defective item. Those straps should stay tight once adjusted. Our harnesses are covered by a 365 day warranty that would cover this, so please confirm if you'd be interested in trying out a replacement. If so, we'll also need your original order number or the email address on the order. In the meantime, we’d like to offer the tips below that can help eliminate some of that loosening while we work on processing your request. ➤ Once adjusted to the desired size, please flip the buckle slide over and ensure there is no loose or excess strap bunching at the back and it’s nice and flush as illustrated in the video. https://bit.ly/3kGJ8fy ➤ If needed, please loosen the front Velcro chest strap just a pinch, so the harness sits a little further back on your dog. This will help to eliminate any friction behind the front legs for comfort and also keep that slider from bumping their leg, etc. if that continues to be an issue.
