Serious quality control and shipping problems.
The bad - I've ordered about thirteen times from Josh's Frogs. In all but two cases, I had to request a replacement due to crushed and dead insects. In once case, the replacement super worms arrived crushed and I needed a second replacement. Most of the issues are related to poor packing and quality control. They ship many of their insects in mesh bags, which end up getting crushed during packing or shipping. In several cases it appears they poured crickets into the box, and then forced egg crates on top of them, smashing the crickets. I was very frustrated a few times when I received containers of mealworms with all of them dead and black. Somebody had to look at them when they were being packed, and sent them anyway. I've had house fly pupa arrive with dozens of live flies in the container. Far too many for my reptiles to eat at once. Lastly, I've run into problems with their websites. They have an old website (joshsfrogs.com) and a new website (new.joshsfrogs.com). You can order on both sites, but the I've had problems ordering on the old site when I accidently landed on it. The good - Their customer service was good, and replacements for dead insects were always shipped the next business day. This is why I gave two stars instead of one. In cold weather, the boxes are lined with thick insulation, with heat packs included. Though I often received crushed and dead insects, I never received any that were frozen. This is important when ordering during winter in Wyoming. When they shipped insects in plastic containers, I think they always arrived in good shape. As they warn on their website, the 32 oz springtail culture arrived with no visible live or dead springtails. After about ten days, eggs started hatching, leaving me with a good culture. I'd rate them higher if they can fix their quality control and shipping issues.
