The first appointment went so fast that I knew something was not right. She then prescribed me medication and puts on the script for weight loss. I have diabetes and she says I have pre diabetes. I have been diagnosed with Type II and I am keeping it controlled but I still take diabetic medication daily. When the pharmacy received the script they said she put the wrong ICD code on it. I had a coupon for out of pocket $5. She would not change the ICD code because “she is not my pcp”!!!! Not hardly. Hard to communicate day after day and then entire week trying to communicate with her. It was a nightmare. Text message after message and you get an answer back 2-3 days later. I would not recommend. Back and forth with pharmacy and with her was aggravated let alone going through menopause. Ughh

Sadly I had high hopes
Sadly I had high hopes, but it is all the same. Terrible communication, no phone support, and I am not quite sure how deep they can really go for you.
I requested an appointment, got in very easily, sent my insurance information over. Did my appt today, the camera on my end stopped rolling with the NP, I just ignored that as I could hear her well. I came prepared with all my info so the session seemed smooth, I did not learn a lot but she seemed to easily support sending my labs over and ordering me a prescription. That was all easy.
The personal info form froze up, I did not hear back from support on the issue prior to the appt, so she filled in the rest and said it happens all the time.
Just now, 3 hours after my appt, I get a vague text: this is Midi, your insurance is out of network.
So what does that mean? I go into my email, no email, no additional messages.
Ok so usual scenario, they have a phone number, there is no support, they want you to email, no connection to the billing dept, just a voicemail saying to leave a message and your email, so obviously they are not calling me back....
So what does this mean for me now, am I getting billed for labs? For prescriptions? For the visit? How much is it? How can you just send a vague text like I am a robot? This is medical, this is personal and this was supposed to be more supported than the typical care you get from your general care... It is so deflating.
I do not recommend it unless you want to be as frustrated as you were with your usual communication you get from your usual sick care ooops I mean health care institutes.

Hi Jennifer! We are very sorry to hear this has been your Midi experience so far. Unfortunately your insurance is not an accepted plan so that means your appointments will be self-pay. Our accepted insurance plans are listed on our website here, https://www.joinmidi.com/pricing-insurance. Our billing team also sent you an email with more information regarding your out of network insurance and the cost for self-pay appointments. We will escalate this to our billing team to have them reach out to you again to discuss this with your further and answer any questions you may have regarding prescription and lab coverage and costs. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience! Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

In KY not covered by Anthem/BCBS
Unfortunately in KY Midi Health is out of network for Anthem/BCBS.
It took me several contact tries with Midi to get a straight answer about this.

Don't trust them
The first two appointments were fine, then the day of my next appointment it was cancelled and I had to reschedule our two weeks with another provider. The person I had seen originally left and either didn't supply notice or they didn't adjust the schedule when it was provided.
Each appointment was an up on dosage, b recommendation of one of their expensive products or a wait and see. Then after my last appointment they quit taking my insurance and going forward visits would be $150. I decided not to proceed.
Now they are charging me $150 for the visit that was a week prior to notification and I have find another provider who is helping. One thing I have learned is how false their weight loss promises were and how much they were shoving pills at me instead of helping me adjust to what my body now needs.
Update: Once I left a comment on Facebook it was quickly resolved. Contacting billing originally did nothing but it is now resolved.
2nd Update: I only thought it was resolved, 3 months later they still show I have a balance due. I have tried contacting them again and an told to disregard and they are working on it. All the while I have a new provider that is really looking at my whole health and providing real advise instead of product recommendations.

Clinicians great. MIDI awful
The clinicians with Midi are absolutely wonderful. Midi itself is the absolute worst. They just cut visit times in *half* while increasing the costs of the visits by 25%. You cannot get good care in 15 minutes. Moreover, it's absolutely impossible to get in touch with them about errors and concerns in any way. They (corporate and billing--again, clinicians are great) don't respond to messages in the portal and no one is ever available to take a call. Calls are also rarely, if ever. returned. I have a billing issue with them that I have been trying to solve for almost two weeks and no response.
I'm also appalled at the change I've seen in them over the last year and a half in terms of pushing unneeded weight loss products, wrinkle creams, etc. It's fine if people want that, but it's clearly a matter of Midi pivoting from the pro-woman, pro-aging, help-oriented stance they began with to the well-known "you're old, ugly and fat" misogyny we all are so sick of and seeing they can profit off that more than the positive narrative they started with.
So if you can get care elsewhere, do it. Even though I adore the actual nurses I've worked with, Midi does not feel trustworthy at all.

Midi
I haven't heard from anyone regarding their patient portal not working. I have no access to my clinition, prescription directions, or billing. It really is hard to communicate. Also disappointed that I didn't know they don't prescribe testosterone in Wisconsin. My insurance has Midi in network through Centivo but they don't take my insurance apparently. Just be prepared and have all the kinks worked out before you subscribe and have a bill.

You get a prescription, but no refills till you shell out for another visit. EVERY MONTH!
No Refills? i was prescribed tirzepitide, but only 1 month at a time!!
I have to pay an extra $30 for shipping because the pharmacy you use is so far away from me. Even though there is a location here in Florida, for some reason, my script is sent to Arizona.
So I scheduled my appointment but there is nothing available till the 8th of Jan.. by the time I will be able to get my refill, I will have been out of meds for 2 weeks and then have to wait another week for the medication to come all the way from Arizona.
NOT HAPPY
This has been a confusing and expensive experience.

Did not work for me at all
Did not work for me at all! I was prescribed hormones that messed me up and was left to fend for myself. Communication is slow, plus I never received a follow-up message from my clinician. I needed assistance but felt very neglected - to think this place was supposed to understand how sensitive it gets for women going through menopause! I do not recommend this place at all!
