I was referred to a lab by midi for some tests. I found out after that the lab does not take my insurance and all costs are due from me. My bill is now over 1200.00. I had a second apt and again I was referred to the same lab for follow up testing. The second clinician I saw obviously did not read my health notes or the notes about the lab. I can not get a live person on the line to answer questions only their AI agent. This has been frustrating.

I was charged $400 for 2 10 minute conversations
I was charged $400 for two telehealth visits ($250 and $150), yet I never received any medication because I was unable to schedule the required lab work. There were no available lab appointments for months, making it impossible to complete the process and receive treatment.
My experience with Midi was extremely frustrating. Despite paying for services, I was unable to access the care I signed up for due to a lack of appointment availability. As a result, I returned to my previous HRT provider, which had consistently provided timely and reliable access to care. I regret switching providers and would not recommend Midi based on my experience.

Please don’t waste your time
Please don’t waste you time. Appointment was ok, provider seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and helpful. Getting RX was a nightmare, pharmacy never received RX- back and forth and back and forth and back again - inconstant replies to messages only to be told “ Your provider is out of the office today and will return on Monday. This is an issue that she has to address personally” - I responded to cancel future appointments and cancel RX - got no further response or update - ended up cancelling for myself in the portal.

Good luck
Good luck! I put a lot into this appointment, I had labs done 3 weeks prior, filled everything out in advance, did the audio test, I tried to sign in 5 minutes prior to my schedule appointment and NOTHING! Of course no one can help you because everything is run by computers. This has been such a waste of time! If I want to schedule another appointment I have to pay for a missed appointment! SMDH

Honestly I had high hopes after my call…
Honestly I had high hopes after my initial call/consultation. Went to pickup prescriptions and my insurance had not been updated properly by MIDI so the cost was all out of pocket. Sent a message to ask and was told they couldn’t read my insurance card, meanwhile, I had already had my first telehealth visit and was told everything was fine with my insurance. No problem, I update my insurance card and ask a couple questions about billing. Crickets don’t hear back for four business days, I have to send another message asking if they even received it.
At this point, I really was not ready to be done with the company, I had received two detailed messages that seemed like they cared about my experience and making things right. I think the final straw was a message sent to me saying if I sent another message. It would be pushed to the back of the line and my two business days were a response would start over again. My medical practitioner that I spoke to on my telehealth visit told me to message whenever I needed anything and somebody would respond in two business days. I did not send them a large amount of messages, probably four or five, some in response to questions. To receive a response that basically tells me to stop messaging them tells me my questions are not have any value to them and neither is my business. Good luck I hope you have a better experience than I Did.

Not experts on perimenopause
I came to Midi already on HRT that wasn't working for me and hoping for expert guidance. But the Midi NP had no recommendations or solutions to offer.
After doing my own research — through books and podcasts with US and international perimenopause specialists — I learned that standard estradiol + progesterone doesn't work for all perimenopausal women, and that the first-line treatment for my situation is a progestin-only birthcontrol - to lessen erratic Hormon fluctuations - combined with transdermal estradiol. My Midi NP was clearly unaware of this and simply said she has no further advice to offer than Progesteron+Estradiol.
If you're looking for nuanced, up-to-date perimenopause care, be prepared to do your own research.
I was so excited about Midi’s concept of helping women through perimenopause, and I am so disappointed about the lack of expertise I experienced.

Truly disappointing :(
I was so excited for my Midi Health appointment. I had waited weeks for the appointment after already waiting months just to book it.
The APRN was lovely, knowledgeable, and followed through with sending the follow up emails and information she mentioned during our visit. Despite those things, I left feeling just as confused and unheard as I have after so many other doctor appointments.
Most of the questions asked were simply confirming information I had already submitted beforehand. After that, I was asked what I wanted, and I explained that I didn’t really know what my options were or what might actually fit my situation. From there, I spent most of the appointment listening to a lot of information, almost all of which was not relevant to me, my lifestyle, or my actual concerns.
A few times I tried to interject or give more context, but instead of follow up questions or curiosity to better understand me, the conversation just continued in the same direction. She spoke for probably 95% of the visit, and that was very different from what I expected based on some of the reviews and experiences so many women describe.
I’m grateful my insurance covered the visit because I honestly don’t know what would have been considered accomplished or helpful enough to justify paying out of pocket.
I’m truly disappointed because I was hopeful this would finally feel different. Instead, I left more confused than before. I did reach out to their customer service and was provided with bios of providers that may align more with what I'm looking for and take an individualized approach.
Before I went ahead and booked another appointment with another co-pay I requested they listen to the call so they could hear a patient being spoken at with largely irrelevant information for nearly an hour and then comp the visit so we could try again. They said they would not comp the visit or at least the co-pay and I don't have a reason to trust that the next visit will be any different so I am not booking another appointment.
From my experience the appointment didn't look, sound, or feel anything like what is described in the marketing ads. Truly disappointing.
