The lady I have helping me is great, but the company itself is not! The supposedly take my insurance. I have Aetna PPO, and they have not even charged the insurance. They just billed me. When you reach out to them no one answers. If you leave a message no one will respond. I have spoken to 1 person from midi over the phone and she sent in a message to have them reach out to me and they haven't. It honestly deserves 0 stars. I only gave it 2 because the lady that has been helping me is awesome!

Had my initial consultation 4 weeks ago
Had my initial consultation 4 weeks ago, still can’t get the orders for an ultrasound after calling twice, once last week and then again today. Don’t bother asking the Dr any questions about how MIDI conducts general business practices or procedures. Every question I asked was answered with I don’t know. Be prepared to provide necessary info like fax number and address for the Lab and Testing facilities as apparently they don’t have the ability to do that themselves. With insurance my consultation was $147 for this company to do much of nothing for me. Not looking good for long term care with MIDI

Great idea, lots of problems
I love the concept of Midi but don't think they've worked out the kinks yet. The portal is very challenging to use and I went through hell with my insurance company getting my tests covered. Worst of all is the tedious prescription process that is expensive and left me late in getting my meds in a timely manner.

DRIVE THROUGH MEDICAL CARE
UPDATE: this place is an absolute joke. I just got two notifications that they changed my appointment and my provider without asking me. Apparently my provider quit and a lot of them are quitting because his company is a disaster. Aggravation galore!! Nobody notified me my provider quit. They simply changed my appt twice, without reaching out to me . I just kept getting texts. So confusing!!! I gave a job, and they schedule things without calling or asking.
I would AVOID! Also. Consider that many 5 star reviews have only written one review…ever.
And notice how they want you to follow up with their care team, but nobody on the Care team ever reaches out. NEVER!
Midi is trying to remove my review. Not sure why.
The marketing is slick but does not live up to it.
I expected boutique care from Midi based on their marketing, but my experience was disappointing. My first appointment with Ana D. was supposed to be 30 minutes, but she rushing to end it at 15 but I still had more questions. She was brusque, lacked bedside manner, and even asked “Why are you here?” instead of “How can I help you?” My 15-year-old, who was quietly doing homework nearby, said “I didn’t like her,” and I agreed.
The platform doesn’t let you see who you’re booking with, so finding a clinician you’re comfortable with is a frustrating guessing game. I had to repeatedly book and cancel just to read bios. Customer service is outsourced to young people in South East Asia. How can they possibly understand women at our age? SAVING MONEY IS THE GOAL. Not good customer service. it took four business days to respond to a simple question. They even rescheduled one of my appointments without asking, less than 24 hours before.
Carly H. was fine, and I’m sticking with her for now, but the tech issues and support delays are exhausting. I couldn’t log into one appointment despite trying multiple times and calling support. It finally worked after 10 minutes. I am glad I started logging in 5 minutes early.
Midi Health is a venture-backed startup. They’ve raised over $100 million, including a $63M Series B in 2024 led by Emerson Collective and another $50M round in 2025. Investors include Google Ventures, Icon Ventures, and several celebrities. AND TECH LOVES TO SAVE MONEY. It is not about the care, it is about shareholders/ investors/boards. I lived in SF and my husbands works in start up companies and I have seen this over and over.
Below is the email proof of the fact they changed the appt without asking. What if I had an appointment at that time? They took the liberty to plan my schedule. It would all be solved if they had a bio page. WHY DO NOT THEY HAVE BIOS where you can pick the clinician? Just a search bar but then you need to know the clinicians name you are looking for. How would I know as a first time patient?

Provider was good, but customer service is terrible
The provider was good and listened and sent me for bloodwork to check some things. However, their customer service apart from the providers is just…apparently non-existent. I have called multiple times (never been able to speak to a human), because I keep getting requests for payment but my bill says insurance isn’t covering it, which it should be. I don’t have a problem paying, but I’ve been trying to get in touch for them to check this first. I have left multiple messages over the last two weeks and have still not received a call or any communication back whatsoever. That feels like a red flag (even if somehow, the result is still that I pay out of pocket, I’d like to speak to a person and get it checked!). Because of this, I will likely be seeking further care elsewhere.

Impossible to get a bill to submit to insurance
No issues with the provider but unless they are in network for you, I would stay away. They are advertising on Facebook to NJ residents saying they accept Aetna which they don’t. I agreed to pay out of pocket and then submit as an out of network visit to my insurance. It’s now been 42 days since my visit and I still haven’t received my bill so I can submit to my insurance. Numerous follow ups and still no bill. I cancelled all future appointments for this reason.

Insurance DOES NOT Cover!
I had good service, but it’s deceptive because they say insurance covers it, but it doesn’t. They charge $205 for a 15 minute visit. I got an insurance discount, but still ended up paying $140 each visit that lasted only 15 minutes. That’s ridiculous. They also kept wanting me to come back, even though things were working fine for me. When I asked about stopping the appointments so often, I never got a response back.

Thank you for this feedback. It's always important to hear from patients what's working, and what's not, when it comes to Midi care. A few things we want you to know: All first visits at Midi are 30 minutes — that’s non‑negotiable. We want enough time to really understand your symptoms, goals, and health history before we design your Care Plan. Follow‑up visits are where you’ll see 15‑minute appointments. The reason is twofold:
• Many follow‑ups are straightforward check‑ins (e.g., “How is the prescription working?” or “Are your symptoms improving?”) and naturally wrap up in 15 minutes or less.
• Clinicians still have full control to schedule longer follow‑ups whenever they think it’s beneficial. If your care is more complex or you simply need more time, they book 30 minutes.
We made this shift only after seeing that most follow‑ups didn’t require the full 30 minutes — it allows us to better match visit length to patient needs and open up more availability for women waiting to be seen. That said, the goal is never to rush anyone; it’s to give the right amount of time, every time.
We're sorry you were not satisfied with your experience. We've requested information from you so we can look into this more.

I had such high hopes for Midi
I had such high hopes for Midi. I was sucked in by the Holderness family after initially rejecting them because of how hard they pushed GLP-1s. My perimenopause symptoms are horrible, and as a recovered anorexic, the least of my worries is weight.
I had been suffering severe perimenopause symptoms for 8 years with early onset, misdiagnosed, dismissed, tried everything else, been told HRT would murder me and that I was weak - I was desperate for a sympathetic ear.
What I got was a confused and cold practitioner rattling out symptoms I didn't have (presumptively) after I'd spent a long time filling out their questionnaire (she didn't even look at it), complaining about how pressed for time she was, and who CUT ME OFF after I was about two sentences into explaining my experience.
She then under estrogened me and over progesteroned me after I'd explained my mental health and PMDD issues which sent me on a three month spiral to find the right dose; she just disappeared after our second visit when I was desperate for further explanation/compassion and the person I got an appointment with yelled at me for not continuing with the same provider and for her being too busy and not having enough time to get to know my dosage even though I was trying to explain.
I also struggled hard core with the people who send prescriptions to drugstores and was told when I informed them the prescription hadn't hit my drugstore and I'd already called them to ask, and I quote "Oh it's really there you just don't see it."
Needless to say I left. Midi appears to be a churning prescription mill that probably profits most off GLP-1s. The practitioners seem overworked and not given enough time to discuss things with patients. For a company that bills itself as the one that brings compassion in a field where women are summarily, habitually, routinely dismissed, and who come raw and often with their last shred of hope to be herd, Midi fails.
