This service is awful and makes me sad for women going through perimenopause who believe this can help. The first visit was okay, but very rushed. I tried to share what my challenges were and I was told there was no time for that. They just canceled my second appointment within 10 mins of scheduled start time. Also note, last time they called in the wrong prescriptions to my pharmacy after I told them again and again that I was allergic and had bad reactions to what they were suggesting. They have been no help whatsoever. Waste of money!

Beware
Beware! You will be out of a lot of money and stuck with paying bills and you will have nothing to show for it. They pretend to help you! Be prepared to pay!

Literally one of the worst patient…
Literally one of the worst patient experiences I've ever had. The provider had a virtual background and others could be overheard -- like there was a dinner party going on where she was located. Still, I stayed, because I wanted help. The provider seemed impatient with my questions, and was putting me through her cookie cutter decision tree while not providing thoughtful answers. At the end of the appointment, there was no clear treatment plan of what I was supposed to do if I wanted to pursue additional care before the appointment abruptly ended. This was a thoroughly disappointing experience and I did not rebook.

A 250$ scam
A 250$ scam. They gaslight you, won’t treat you, and take your money. Scam.
Update: after ‘escalating’ my grievance 3 times, they sent me a form letter saying I do not get a second opinion and I will not be refunded despite this experience.

Misleading and dishonest
UPDATE 7/22/26:
I submitted my complaint to their customer service on July 11, and they did not get back to me with a resolution until July 22. I gave screenshots and documentation of the advertisements I was served, which omitted any information around potential required payments for first-time consults. I walked through their unclear and deceptive user journey, from ad click to visit booking, where at no point was it clearly communicated to me first-time telemed visits may require self-payment of up to $250. I even shared competitor ads served to me the same time that DID indicate either free consults or no $250 consults fees-- all of which gives reasonable consumers like myself the understanding that Midi's service would be on par or better than their competitors.
I also provided the FTC guidelines around deceptive advertising, and how their practices of omitting important material information for the consumer fit the guidelines description:
According to the FTC's Deception Policy Statement, an ad is deceptive if it contains a statement - or omits information - that:
1. Is likely to mislead consumers acting reasonably under the circumstances; and
2. Is "material" - that is, important to a consumer's decision to buy or use the product.
The potential self-pay fee of up to $250 for the first telemed visit is material information that would have significantly influenced my decision to NOT sign-up for a first visit, had it been communicated in the ad. By omitting this information from their ads, they are clearly putting revenue over clear communication to their potential patients -- and I find the practice to be ethically wrong and scammy.
To conclude, the MANY 1-star reviews here referencing dishonest and unclear consult pricing are true and accurate. Avoid Midi at all costs -- you can get better and more affordable service from your in-network medical provider or Planned Parenthood. I honestly can't believe I'm out $200, deceived by a women's health company who promotes itself as "for women, by women". SHAME ON YOU, LEADERSHIP!

Original Review: They ran instagram ads promoting virtual consults, which is easy to schedule and at no point do they tell you that —- nearly a month after the appointment— they’ll suddenly send you $200 bill for that virtual consult. Their advertising is not clear and makes you think it’s a free virtual consult when it isn’t. There is zero chance I would have booked the first virtual consult to see if a certain protocol would be right for me if I had known it would cost $200. I work in marketing and pay attention to how ads are written / designed… this is truly a dishonest and misleading company!!!

Would not recommend for self-pay!!
I'm sure there are great providers, and I'm happy many people are getting the help they need, but it's such a gamble as a self-pay client. My provider was sweet, but spent the appointment talking about my family history and an unrelated condition, rather than my priorities (perimenopause and weight gain). And, despite the site stating that you can talk about all your concerns, you cannot. Whichever you choose as the first priority becomes the only thing that's "addressed," and to discuss the other, you have to make another "first" appointment for a "new concern," which means another $250 charge. This feels so predatory towards people who are desperate for help and keep hitting walls.
The ads and website claim that you'll finally be listened to and get help tailored to your needs, but that was not my experience. Despite repeatedly stating that pregnancy is not a concern for me, the provider insisted on a birth control pill, which is what other providers are always trying to push as well. I felt rushed in the appointment (from spending so much time on irrelevant topics) and completely unheard and my concerns not fully acknowledged.
I tried to follow up with customer service, but was told they had no record of me as a client and that I should message the provider. I tried multiple times to message the provider as instructed (not because I personally wanted to reach her), but repeatedly got error messages and couldn't send any messages. I again followed up with customer service, and they again said I didn't have my portal set up, even though I had been using it for the appointment and messaging attempts. They then deleted my portal account, and said that they couldn't help me because "care was provided."
But they sure could find ALL my information to collect the $250 for the pointless appointment! While I'm sure there are decent providers and it might be worth multiple appointments if you have insurance and a reasonable copay, I would stay far away as a self-pay client.

I had a terrible experience with Midi…
I had a terrible experience with Midi Health. The practitioner spent probably less than 10 minutes with me. She was dismissive of my concerns. She was completely unknowledgeable about the newest research related to how the women’s health initiative has been debunked. She was unwilling to help me and then I got a $230 charge in the mail. I called Midi Health to voice my concerns and my dissatisfaction with the services. I was completely blown off and just told to pay the $230. I would never use this company again and I feel that it’s a scam. Avoid Midi Health! Nothing but a money grab.

Was brushed off by the nurse…
IWas brushed off by the nurse practitioner who saw me. She did not help me at all. But they were quick to collect the bill. Waste of time and money never again.
Idk what or why more information is needed this is my honest review and will never use your services again.
I understand the need for further review but I already went to a provider that was able to further assist me. So my info is no longer needed for you all to review.
