Great concept- poor execution. We need menopausal healthcare. But- she forgot we met already. I went to a lab 3 times but she never properly coded so I never got them. She prescribed estrogen with 5 refills but progesterone with only 1 refill. MUST take both. Super slow response to refill request- then claimed it was for 5. That’s not what Walgreens says - so clearly they never really verified with Walgreens. I have wasted a lot of time. I’m done.

Not Impressed...
Started with Midi in October 2025 $350 for first virtual visit, and $150 thereafter.
My goal was HRT, and my every first appointment was canceled by Midi because I did not confirm my appointment via text message because I did not receive it.
I had to reschedule for a later date. I rescheduled, and for my 2nd appt, I still did not receive my text to confirm, but the NP called me, and emailed a link to log into the meeting.
I had another appointment today, and I did not receive a link to log into, no text and no call. How the heck are patients supposed to meet when you have no meeting invite.
I am in Perimenopause, and was put on estrogen with out having labs done to check my levels. After I mentioned this to the NP, she mentioned that because I was in PM, that I did not need labs.
I am done with Midi. I am paying too much out of pocket for this shotty service.
I would NOT recommend.

Not a real doctor service
Just so you know ahead of time, these are not doctors these are nurses. Once they order a test or imaging, they cannot access it. They cannot make orders other than for estrogen and progesterone. They cannot give you any real advice if you have anything other than just sleep loss and mood adjustment. This is not a real doctor service.

Hi there, our clinicians are licensed nurse practitioners (NPs), CNMs (nurse midwives), doctors (MDs), and naturopathic doctors (NDs) who specialize in women’s midlife health. We've requested some additional information from you so that we can look into your experience and are happy to reschedule you with a new provider if you were not satisfied with your care. Thank you!

So far I'm underwhelmed with these clowns
Just had my first telehealth appointment yesterday, and I am underwhelmed. Provider had tech difficulties and couldn't hear me for the first 20 minutes of my appointment. Then she read me a bunch of questions about my health history, which I had already filled out, and I basically sat through all of this just so I could get a prescription for estradiol patches and progesterone pills... But when I went to the pharmacy, they had no record of the pills ever being requested.
Now I have to wait two business days, plus the New Year's holiday, to supposedly get a response from the provider via the app --which also sucks majorly. Athenahealth app shows no record of any past appointments, and I can only see them if I log in via the link I was emailed...which takes me to some other weird Athenayealth portal that is not configured for a mobile phone and is very difficult to read.
I've heard good things about Midi, but based on my experience thus far, I'm not feeling very confident in their abilities... And I'm wondering if it's just a cash grab and they even know what they're doing.

Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with MIDI Health.
Communication is nearly nonexistent—messages go unanswered for long periods of time, and prescription refills are delayed to the point of being disruptive and stressful. Billing issues are another story altogether: unclear charges, little to no explanation, and no accountability.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience! First appointment my provider was late. The call was then rushed and instead of addressing all my concerns in one call, I was forced into a separate appointment to address my additional concern. I made it clear in my appointment that my concern for my hormone levels is based on the fact I want to try for kids and during my annual exam I discovered I’m low on estrogen. In order to level out my estrogen she then prescribed me BIRTH CONTROL!! After, again, I made it clear my goal is to be able to conceive. Her reasoning was you shouldn’t be pregnant on Estrogen. Meanwhile millions of woman are on HRT to try and help towards conception and once pregnant simply discontinue it without incident. I only knew about the birth control she prescribed after I picked it up! Thankfully I wasn’t charged for it by my insurance. Kept with her for a bit because I needed desperately to level out my hormones and target weight gain from them being out of whack. However, recently my concern was then my estrogen levels again as she wanted to increase my dosage WITHOUT checking my levels first. I told her do not increase my estrogen and said I wanted a blood test first to see where my levels are currently at. I told her I know estrogen can thicken the lining of my uterus and reminded her my goal of conceiving as I don’t want it to thicken too much that it’ll interfere with conception. I told her again to not increase my estrogen yet and that I don’t want to take more estrogen than needed. Her response was to tell me she’s more concerned about my liver because estrogen can affect the liver and said she was going to order me a blood test to test my liver. I insisted she also order a blood test to check my estrogen levels, felt as though I had to be very persistent and insistent and had to advocate for myself just to even get her to agree to do that. Yet she did agree to order that lab. So lab needed to be scheduled for day 3 of my period. Low and behold I go to get my lab orders in place two hours before my appointment only to learn she DID NOT put in my requested lab order as she said she would. WTF?!! So of course I call and with MIDI they don’t give a damn if you need to speak to your provider. They have a call center answering calls who have no medical experience whatsoever and no authority whatsoever to do anything to help you. Trying to get a manager from MIDI itself is a joke! Messaging your provider with a response can take up to 48 hours is your only option. So there I was, day three of my period, and two hours from my blood test being unable to get the lab order for the lab that was already supposed to be ordered for me!! Thankfully my Primary Care while out of state is the best and responsive, as I had to then beg and rely on her to order the lab for me. Then comes me picking up my prescription renewals, and what had my provider done?! She did increase my estrogen AGAINST MY WISHES which I didn’t even realize until after I’d paid for it, gotten it home and put on a new patch. Complete disregard for patient concern, complete disregard for patient requests and preferences, completely not any representation of the care that MIDI claims they provide. Then I submitted my complaints to my providers inbox and letting her go in the process notifying her that I don’t think she’s the right fit for me and why and letting her know I need a new provider. She didn’t even respond to me!! Not even an apology or to say that due to my request she’s going to refer me for a new provider. Nothing!! Again complete disregard!! I instead got a text about an upcoming appointment and saw it’s with a new provider. I complained to MIDI and said I’m a very unhappy patient. NEVER HEARD BACK from their support and then days later get a text asking me to give input on my experience was with MIDI support and asking me to share my feedback with them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I only tried MIDI based on reviews but my experience overall has been shit.

Great provider, irresponsible compound pharmacy
Great provider experience, but the GLP-1 she recommended arrived without any use instructions - and I accidentally took the wrong dose due to inexperience with vials and needles.

I have been using midi for over a year…
I have been using midi for over a year for weight loss.
The Good: initially easy to set up appointments.
I did lose 30 lbs.
The Bad:Initially they said I was self pay but my insurance did cover the visits. I had to do a lot of work on my side of things to prove this and get the visits covered. This medical company should assist clients with this.
Scheduling- so many rescheduled appointments because my provider last minute wasn’t available.
Stall- I have been stalled these last 4 months with no weight loss. When my provider mentioned changing meds (to more $$) I asked about getting them run through insurance. She said I was self pay so she couldn’t do that. I said no, I am being covered by insurance could you please check.
Final Straw: my last appointment again was rescheduled during a time I wasn’t available. So I had to move it. I logged on early and my provider wad late. Then she had technical issues. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I called their technical support number while this was going on. They said they would have to call me back and that I would need to reschedule my appointment. These appointments are literally 5 minutes and they allocate 15-30 minutes to them. I asked to escalate the call to a supervisor and was lied to. I was told they didn’t have supervisors, but then a few minutes later they admitted they didn’t have escalation supervisors. That dishonesty was the final straw.
