When I scheduled my first visit, I said it was to explore testosterone therapy. The provider I met with explained she is not licensed to prescribe testosterone; I would need to schedule a visit with someone who was. I am self-pay. This fruitless first visit cost me $250. Midi has invited me to schedule a follow up with the same provider. The website doesn’t tell me how to schedule with a testosterone provider. Calling for help led to dead ends, no one in Billing or Patient Care available. I am waiting for a response to an email query. UPDATE 11/1/24: Midi contacted me to schedule a visit with a testosterone provider. UPDATE 12/14/24: Visit with appropriate provider (another $150) went great!

I regret engaging with this organization. I received a prompt invoice for my lackluster visit which I paid immediately. While the NP was kind, she was clearly in over her head with my issues. Fair enough, I’ve a lot of medical issues. When she informed me at the start of our visit that my insurance was not in network, I should have just cancelled. That was my error. But it should not be difficult to get an itemized bill to present to my insurance company, but I’ve tried twice now and still zero response. *After posting my review, which I believe was a fair assessment, I did receive the necessary information to submit a claim to my insurance. I’ve upgraded my rating to three stars.

I would love to make an appt., but BC/BS PPO said that Midi Health was not in my plan and Midi said that it was. So I'm stuck on what to do. I don't want to make an appt. and then get billed. Any suggestions?

It's great to have practitioners who listen and care about perimenopause, and I'm glad to have received the care I needed. However, the admin and billing staff are making ne wonder if it's worth it. I was initially assigned to a doctor who could not prescribe testosterone and yet she still conintinued seeing me for low testosterone symptoms, and even ordered testosterone labs, and yet did not disclose that she could not prescribe testosterone. I was then told that I would be reassigned to a doctor who could prescribe testosterone and my appointment would be complimentary....but I am still being billed for it. I have emailed, called, all to no avail, have not received a response in over a month.

Like: The practitioner was very attentive and I think that she understood my situation. I decided to gradually adopting the therapies offered Just so I could see how I would react. I am glad that I did. I got very sick within 2 months of treatment. I developed endometrial hyperplasia without atypia and that has cost me & my insurance carrier $$$$$ in tests and procedures. Didn't Like: My response to treatment as a post menopausal woman was not good. The remote nature of the therapy requires closer qualifying and follow up.

I felt my initial consultation was not very in depth, however, the practitioner gave me a few helpful suggestions. Unfortunately, after our consultation I found it took her a long time to respond to me and in between I kept getting constant reminders to rebook. I wrote to their customer service department and never heard back regarding my concerns. I wrote again to request they stop sending my rebooking invites which they responded to but I am still getting these emails. I think it's better to just go see a doctor who knows about HRT.
