So far I'm not impressed. Had my initial $250 visit with my clinician who is not a doctor. Eek. Also, they really push this "reputable supplements" provider. It was very odd. Spent a good minute or 2 on it. After discussing my care. She confirmed my Rxs and said she'd send them off. That same night I messaged the clinician thru the portal asking her to confirm my Rx's bc I had already forgotten (brain fog!). I didn't get a response so I sent an email to their customer support and asked if there was an issue with the portal. They said it could take up to 2 to 3 business days for a response.um what? It's already been 2 business days and nothing. No Rxs have been sent over either. I am not liking how this is going and feeling like the reviews are bogus because who would like this set-up at such a high price point. I was hoping by paying out of pocket I'd get more personal care and attention but it's not the case. Really disappointed and wished it was more like what the ads showed on social media. I would not recommend if you are paying out of pocket and want to actually speak with a doctor.

Do not recommend!
My visit was with a nurse practitioner who made assumptions about my health without even asking me about my symptoms (ie- you’re not having any hot flashes. Not true! Yes, I am ). She also contradicted herself by saying menopause is treated by symptoms and not labwork yet says my estrogen level shows I’m not in perimenopause. As a physician , I would advise you to stay clear of this company. They don’t take the time to truly understand your symptoms nor do they have access to your previous lab work or work up. I am going to follow up with my own gynecologist who takes the time to understand my health issues, and who also takes my insurance coverage.

Paid for this visit out of pocket
Paid for this visit out of pocket. Cost $250 for a doctor to tell me to go to other doctors to test for everything under the sun. She did absolutely nothing. This service is an absolute rip-off.

As a woman in her late 40s who is…
As a woman in her late 40s who is experiencing increasing menopausal symptoms, I was eager to try Midi Health, as I understood that this practice specializes in women's health care from peri- through post-menopause.
Unfortunately, so far, I have been dissatisfied with the level of care and attention that I have received from Midi Health's practitioners.
My initial consult with an NP was fine. At the end of the consult, the NP told me that she'd need to order labs for me before I started taking HRT, but she needed to know which lab. Minutes after the consult ended, I messaged the NP to provide the specific lab and location.
Two weeks later, I'd heard nothing from the NP or Midi Health about the lab order. I had to dig around on the (very basic, not user friendly) website to determine whether my labs had ever been ordered. When it appeared they had not, I messaged the NP to inquire. She then apologized and ordered the labs.
If that had been the only negative experience, no big deal. But it only got worse from there.
When I printed out the lab order to take to my lab, I noticed that the NP hadn't ordered a hormone panel. But she had ordered a bunch of other general tests, like Vitamin D and cholesterol. I thought that was odd; wasn't the whole point to get a baseline on my hormone levels before I started HRT?
But since I'm not a medical professional, I again messaged my NP to ask. It turned out that the original NP was on vacation, so a different person was covering for her. That person responded that no, a hormone panel wasn't necessary, and attached a long scientific "treatise" to prove it. I thought that was a little odd, but okay.... she's a medical professional and I am not.
At my next consultation with my NP, who had by then returned from vacation, it was immediately obvious that she hadn't reviewed my lab results before the call started. After I mentioned that I had taken the labs and results were in, she wasted 5 minutes of our session reviewing them.
When the NP mentioned that there was no hormone panel result, I inwardly rolled my eyes. "You didn't order one," I replied, "and when I asked your covering NP about whether the panel had been omitted in error, she said it wasn't necessary." The NP looked at me blankly, responding: "It's a good idea to order a hormone panel to establish a baseline level before you start HRT."
Oh, is it? Then why did: (1) You not order that panel, and (2) your covering NP tell me it was actually NOT advised (the opposite of what you're saying now)?
So now I have to go back to the lab to take yet another panel. And honestly, I feel completely uncared-for by my NP, and uncomfortable with the inconsistencies in Midi Health's policies that would result in diametrically opposite advice from two different NPs on the need to get a hormone panel.
In conclusion, I am questioning my decision to use Midi Health. I will likely discontinue using the service, and find a specialist doctor instead.

Worst medical experience ever
Appt was with an NP, not MD and she provided no info or insight beyond basic understanding. She prescribed a medication and each time I asked about statistical risk for this or that she said she had over a dozen patients taking it with no problem. I tried the prescription and the side effects were awful, much worse than the severe hot flashes etc that it was supposed to treat, and it didn’t even help with that issue. Worst medical experience ever.

Hi Nicole,
Thank you so much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that this was your experience! We can assure you that our clinicians have a broad range of backgrounds and training, but we are proud to report that at Midi, *every* clinician receives intensive training in perimenopause and menopause from nationally recognized experts.
That education never stops: Our clinical leadership keeps the team up-to-date on the latest science in weekly seminars. (In contrast, only 20% of OB/GYN medical students are trained in menopause.) You can feel confident knowing that our clinicians undergo the same training program, so whoever you see can provide expert care when treating your symptoms.
We take a lot of pride in the care we deliver to patients and want to ensure that each patient's needs are heard and met. I will request some information from you to follow up with the Care Team. We’ll do everything we can to make it right.

I had a brief initial consultation with…
I had a brief initial consultation with a Midi nurse practitioner regarding HRT. I already had spoken with OB-GYN and was provided a Rx for HRT. I was interested in some additional input and potential recommendations to manage my symptoms. The meeting did not add anything valuable or obvious. I could have gotten the same information by doing a simple online search. The meeting felt a bit rushed and I was provided with such generic information- it was a complete waste of time. (not a important but a note that--The provider also was in her apartment and the background wasn't blurred so it looked very unprofessional.) To make matters worse, I got a bill for $187. Although Midi says it is an in-network provider, the payment differential is much higher for the patient. I do not recommend this service. Just go to your OB to get more comprehensive care and insurance coverage.
