Midi was highly recommended to me my female bloggers I follow. I was eager to try them since my naturopath doctor retired. Well, after being with Midi for several months, i am very disappointed. The provider didn’t schedule lab work as was discussed at my appointment. I had to yet make another online visit(for which I pay $150 every time since I do not have a traditional insurance). When I brought that up to my provider asking maybe have a discussion without a an online meeting, she basically told me that she will do only online meetings. I feel maybe it is great for those with insurance and Midi can suck money out of them. But for me as a cash payer, it is too costly. Not recommend.

They said they take insurance but after my first visit and messing up my medication so much and making me run back and forth with the pharmacy they sent me a $200 bill. Don’t use them. Not worth it. I was floored! I only had one visit and the medication was a mess. Apparently my insurance covered none of the expensive ones they wanted me on. And it took ages for them to send in a prescription for generic. When I asked for the pill version they responded by simply saying a prescription for the estrogen patch was sent it. I never even ask for the patch! I don’t know where that came from. I do not recommend them and wish I hadn’t used them.

The provider seemed tired and checked out at every appointment. She was pretty clearly reading off her screen and not interested in engaging. She followed up on what i specifically had questions about but I didn't feel like she was helping with the big picture. I had to have several followup appointments because of that. The last appointment wasn't covered by insurance. Midi no longer accepted it but didn't notify me. When I asked about it, they said they could give me a discounted rate if I chose to stay on but did not even acknowledge thati was not notified of the change. I also discovered that the supplements they provide are way overpriced. Huge waste, which is sad since they market themselves as an alternative to have your health concerns truly addressed.

My experience with MIDI Health has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The first practitioner I met with prescribed a medication, but unfortunately, it was not covered by my insurance. She offered an alternative, and after going back and forth trying to determine the most affordable option, we ultimately discussed and decided on a treatment plan. Before I was able to start the medication, however, that practitioner left the practice. Now MIDI Health is telling me that I have to schedule another appointment with a different provider before they will prescribe the medication that had already been discussed and agreed upon. The treatment plan was already established, and I had not even started the medication yet, so requiring another appointment feels completely unnecessary. As an advanced practitioner myself, I find this particularly concerning. From a patient perspective, it is difficult not to feel that requiring an additional visit is more about generating another bill than providing continuity of care. I understand that providers may change practices, but patients should not have to repeat an already completed evaluation and treatment-planning process simply because their original practitioner left. Overall, this has made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. I expected better continuity of care and a more patient-centered approach from MIDI Health. I will not be returning for another visit.

I was charged $280 for a telehealth visit, only to find out that my BCBS insurance did not cover the prescribed medication. When I contacted them about getting an alternative prescription that my insurance would cover, I was told I would need to schedule another appointment and pay another $280 just to receive a different prescription. I find this practice extremely concerning. Patients should not have to pay hundreds of dollars for another appointment simply because the original medication prescribed is not covered by their insurance. This felt more focused on collecting additional appointment fees than providing reasonable patient care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service. Their billing and prescription policies need serious review. After my second virtual apppointment with my Midi Health provider (Angela Dilaura), I was told to get labs done and follow up with another appointment (3rd one at $150 per visit) to go over results and get started with HRT. Went to Quest and had labs done. Unbeknownst to myself or Quest, Angela forgot to send all lab orders so I was very surprised when, 2 days later, I received orders that would require me to go back to Quest to have more blood drawn. Midi expected me to rearrange my schedule again for a second Quest visit and pay a second $60 co-pay to Quest to have the missing labs done. When I reached out to Midi, they tried to blame Quest although Angela didn't submit the labs to Quest correctly and I was able to prove that. They not offer to reimburse me for a 2nd co-pay or even apologize for their mistake. I also never heard from Angela regarding this - if Midi cared about their patients, the mistake would have been acknowledged. The support rep that I spoke with was extremely unhelpful and dismissive so I've moved on and am receiving great care from a real doctor who is amazing. Midi is a terrible company that cares about the money, not the patient.

They didn’t notify me that they were not accepting my insurance anymore after I had been seeing them for over a year. I got stuck with a $150 office visit bill. They should have made sure I knew this before I made my appointment with them.

They canceled my first appointment claiming I did not respond to a spam text. When called out that that confirmation was done through their exhaustive on boarding process they refused to correct and the appointment remained cancelled on short notice. Others have complained that you are just a number here and man does it show! Best to find someone else with a human connection.
