I couldn't get a live person to confirm anything. I reached out and messaged my NP- Amber Rutkin and she was no longer listed as one of my providers. I can't get any answers, needed to cancel upcoming appt, got a text to reach out to care@joinmedi, email was undeliverable. Frustrating & confusing dealing with (2)portals- Athena Health and Mid portal. Going back to a live physician!

Im giving it a 2 star because of the provider that got assigned to me. She’s very dismissive and only asked basic questions and literally told me the test I was asking for will not help. Yeah and her name is Bentley

UNETHICAL BILLING PRACTICES The dr was nice but it seemed like she would prescribe whatever it was I asked for regardless of history or need. She did send me for bloodwork but never saw the results before prescribing me meds for hormonal imbalances. Also I was told that the appt would be free (with a normal copay) but then I received a $65 bill. Nobody ever mentioned that it would be this amount for EVERY APPOINTMENT! I don’t recommend unless you get in writing what the appt will cost and hopefully you get a provider that isn’t just handing out scripts because they think you fit the mold for menopause or whatever else is going on.

I saw an advertisement for testosterone treatments so I made an appointment and this provider told me she couldn’t prescribe as she didn’t have a DEA but changed some other things around and offered to order the labs so I could see a DEA provider. Did the labs and scheduled an appointment a week after having them drawn. That provider never even let me say anything about my interest in talking about testosterone until the last 3 minutes of the exam and told me since my labs weren’t back we needed another appointment. Yet on the website it says labs aren’t required with most meds. I’m on my 3rd visit to get the med I asked for one visit one. I think the clinicians are great, but the scheduling and consistency is an F-. I can’t recommend this service

I was not impressed with my clinician. I was already on HRT and told the nurse I was still having hot flashes and the only thing she did was increase my dosage. This was obvious. There were no blood tests requested and they charged my insurance company $250 as if the clinician, a nurse, was a doctor. That is what my doctor charges me. The call was for 30 min.

The first consultation is a waste. It is just to get you to the right person. I already had testosterone levels checked and she said I would be seen by a NP that could prescribe testosterone. She had not looked at any of the information before the appointment. She said we were all set. We hung up. She later sent me a message that MIDI needed another test. She said she sent it to the lab. The lab she sent it to was very far away. This all could have bees avoided if she took two seconds to review my labs. I’m still trying to get the lab sent to a closer lab or for her to send it to me. This is not high standard quality care. But it’s about the only way right now to get testosterone. So be prepared for NP that justs run through the drill and doesn’t know anything.

This was a good place to start my perimenopause treatment but not good for long term. They only offer certain forms of medication and you have to get them from their pharmacies. Billing department is a mess, I was charged over $100 for a 15 minute appointment and my practitioner was on a walking treadmill the entire visit. If you don’t fit into a certain box on treatment, this will not work for you. I luckily found an alternative provider and my treatment is night and day. I’m feeling so much better now since switching from midi.

I'm honestly growing to hate Midi. My prescriptions constantly get cancelled by medical assistants, my messages don't get to my provider, I can't change my medication list, and now to top it off appointments are only 15 minutes for cash pay patients!!!!!! The ONLY reason I haven't left is because my clinician is amazing. Midi started off so great but is progressively going down hill as profits get put over patients and the administration deteriorates
