They keep sending me a bill and are refusing to run it through my insurance. I have contacted them numerous times with zero help and nothing has changed. This is very frustrating, their customer service is less than helpful. I would recommend finding someone else.

NO FOLLOW UP
I made an appointment and that went well, however, I was told to get some tests done and I was told that they would be sent to the various locations. I called up those places to make my appointment and there were no orders for me. If this is how they do business than I want nothing to do with them. My life is hard enough without having to track down my orders too.

Horrible
Horrible! My previous doctor Kimberly was amazing. I was unknowingly switched to a different doctor’s whose care team is just bad! I’ve been waiting on a pre authorization for almost a month now. It’s hard to reach anyone via phone and when you message no one replies for days. O am now without meds and looking to visit a physician in person. There are far better resources than midi. Do your homework before making the decision to utilize midi health.

It started off decently well
It started off decently well. The initial clinician was very nice, but none of the extensive patient questionnaire I had completed beforehand carried over to her, which is useless and a total time waste, although not her fault. She set up another appointment with another clinician and transmitted lab orders. However, the lab she transmitted to doesn’t perform outside tests, and that’s where it fell completely apart. You cannot reach anyone at MIDI. I messaged through the portal 5-6 times, no response. Called and left voicemails. When I finally got a response, almost ten days had passed. Then, I did the bloodwork and never heard anything back; no one seemed to care enough to obtain results they ordered. I messaged at least 5 more times to try to get the results and then days later heard back, after which time they posted in the portal the wrong bloodwork results from tests they hadn’t ordered, from another (non-MIDI) doctor altogether! I have no idea how they were able to even obtain them (I’m sure a HIPAA violation by the lab); and then multiple messages and days more for them to get the right results and post them. All way past the time of the next appointment, which I then had to cancel. But, I would have absolutely no faith whatsoever in their care at this point—unresponsive, erratic, delayed, and totally confused.

This company is not a professional…
This company is not a professional place to get hormones checked or prescribed! As they use same BASIC panel and not comprehensive process ones for each patient as each patient varies and meds different test markers that must be addressed …..if you want to be treated right and professionally you must visit a professional functional doctor or naturopathic doctor instead as they will do better job in doing comprehensive individual oriented tests and treatments as one treatment doesn’t fit all cases as I did and I am happy I went and found a better doctor and place

If I could leave a negative star
If I could leave a negative star, I would. Just so you know, Midi Health is behind a portal from Athena Health. And I have had issues with the portal. When it asks to send my security code as a text to my phone, it doesn't, it goes into the ether. But don't tell Midi because they will say "We aren't Athena Health". But all of the doctors notes, contact information, my information is behind this portal. Also, they send emails about joing the potal at all hours. I missed my appointment because I never got the email I thopught. I did receive it when I looked later....it was sent at 4am! And let's not forget when I told Midi this, they said that my profile wasnt all setup. Wanna know why? It's behind the portal. And when I go to AthenaHealth, they only show me connected to one place, from 2013!!!!!! It is 2026. Nothing connects me to Midi. So I call in and I am told that you have to request the code on a desktop. WTF. Again, this is 2026. Midid tries to state how they are this great teledoc. When I had my first appointment they didnt even ask for any bloodwork or testing? I am asking about being put on Hormone Replacement Therapy at 55, dont you think testing would be in order? I could go on about calling in and asking for the time of my next appointment ebcause I never got anything and that woman couldnt figure out how to login? Finally I asked her to email the time and she said "Oh yes, I will definietly do that!". Guess if I ever got that email? Stay away from this company because I could go on and on. This isnt a good company or even one that I think is reputable, I think they are paying for their positive reviews. So please see a regular doctor and run and run fast from Midi Health or you will be where I am at, stuck in a loop where no one can help you or respond let alone fix the problem. They need to take their marketing dollars from tiktok and invest in a tech company who can create a portal that can be accessed from a cell phone at the very least. Dont believe the FAKE REVIEWS, I AM A REAL PATIENT AND RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AND DO NOT INVOLVE YOURSELF WITH THIS PLACE

Very slow to respond to messages
Very slow to respond to messages. Can’t speak to a live person when no one returns messages. Very frustrating.

I'm shaken by the way I was treated
I just had my first appointment with Midi, and I'm shaken by how badly I was treated. The clinician was very dehumanizing and rude. She began by asking me the same questions in the health history questionnaire that I had previously spent a long time filling out accurately. I was confused and asked her if she had my questionnaire, and she said, "Y'all write down things that don't match what you say." I felt like I was being lumped into some negative idea she has about patients.
She asked me another health question, which I answered, and I tried to give a little bit more info because it was about a condition I have that can make some types of hormone therapy dangerous. She just raised her voice and talked right over me with the next question.
There was no basic courtesy, she seemed antagonistic, she didn't want to hear vital information about my health, and the supportiveness I had expected from Midi's advertising was totally absent. At that point I told her that I could not keep going with her and ended the call.
I tried to contact customer service but after calling three times (with a different menu each time) I was only able to leave a voicemail.
I went to the Midi website to leave a review and that's when I discovered that there is no way to do that. So, the reviews they show you are testimonials they've curated because they're positive. You can't get a real picture of patient satisfaction from the website.
I left the appointment feeling horrible and also SO disappointed, because I'd been looking forward to getting relief from my symptoms. That, and the fact that there was no way to speak to a live customer service rep, tells me that Midi is very hands-off about patient care, and I will not be going back.
UPDATE:
I received an email (not a call) back from Midi customer service. They said they wouldn't bill for the appt, and offered to give me an appt with someone else. I'm still not comfortable trying again.
There is no way to request a particular clinician based on reviews here, so it's a crap shoot whether you get someone who mistreats you. I recommend reading several of the one star reviews here. It's eye opening.
