If I could leave ZERO I would. Messages unanswered for days. Appointments cancelled last minute. Very disappointing.

I had an appointment over a month ago…
I had an appointment over a month ago and feel like they just took my money. They never got back to me on my prescription update, or any real update - kept saying “let us check on that, it’ll be 3-5 business days” for over a month of asking where we were in the process and what the hold up was. I hope you go find a better doctor that cares about women’s health and there to support instead of ignoring every effort to check on status. I am presented with “let me send to someone else”. Nobody is helpful or can get you the right answers. I do not recommend using them. Real life patient - highly recommend going somewhere else. I feel used and just want to warn people to be cautious if considering.

The clinician was great, midi tech support or additional support not great
The clinician was great, but getting the medication has been horribly painful. I asked for the prescription to be sent to other pharmacy and it took more that two days and three calls to midi to get it sorted out. Now I’m at the pharmacy and the insurance is not covering for my prescription as there is something wrong on the request. Not sure where to rate midi service but it has been awful.

Automated Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible bc it’s all automated. So if something goes wrong, no one to talk to, First appointment was pretty easy. They prescribed me with HRT and after that I’ve not been able to get in touch with anybody and after maybe 20 times of trying them they wrote to me that they extended my prescription for three months but they pharmacy denies that and it’s been impossible to get back in touch so now I’ve been left high and dry with nothing and that’s a real problem.

WHAT A LETDOWN
The nurse practitioner was professional, but not very empathetic. When I got off the call, I was optimistic. Unfortunately she incorrectly ordered the labs which created a mess for me. The DEXA scan she ordered for me was at a tiny clinic near my home rather than one of the more major clinics as I would have expected. That was not a big deal, just unexpected.
After filling out all of my information prior to the appointment, the billing department did not bill my insurance, sent me a bill for everything and proceeded as if I never submitted any information, including my mailing address. Somehow, they dug up an address from 8 years ago and assumed it was current.
When I reached out over the patient portal to the nurse practitioner I had worked with she appeared, irritated and annoyed at my questions rather than empathetic or helpful.
I had been very optimistic regarding giving Midi health a try, but overall, it was a disaster.

Absolutely do not recommend
My experience with midi began well, but went downhill after my first appointment. Upon beginning HRT via midi, I had constant bleeding daily. After two weeks of daily bleeding, I reached out to my clinician via the portal. Responses supposedly take 2–3 days, but the clinician responded after 5. Her response was that “bleeding is normal when starting HRT“. I had further questions in the email that she didn’t address at all, and was left wondering how to proceed. After two more weeks of this, I had been bleeding constantly for one month at that point. I messaged her through the portal again, asking what to do. She responded again after almost a week advising for me to make an appointment to be seen. I went ahead and made the appointment, only to have it automatically canceled by the clinician the day of my appointment. I was so disappointed, I had been bleeding for over a month and couldn’t get anyone at midi to help me. I then requested a new clinician. I made a new appointment with this person, only to have that appointment cancel again, this time the day before that appointment. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere for my care and I’m happy to say I found an amazing in person doctor. I do not recommend telehealth for menopause symptoms and I do not recommend midi.

DONT be a test subject not worth the issues
I took the survey (screening) and was matched up with three different medications, after two weeks of being on these medications I felt pain in my shoulder more fatigued then usual and HUNGRY ALL THE TIME!! I asked if this was normal and basically was told the HRT does not create any problems, this seemed almost autogenerated. I had never had a phone conversation with anyone but they were quick to take money for medication that now have caused another problem.
Response from Midi HealthJan 22, 2026
Hi Melinda, Midi clinicians meet with patients online and do not utilize a survey to prescribe medications, so we're confused about your review. We've requested additional information from you to try to understand.

Waste of time and money
I contacted Midi Health to be proactive as I approach menopause and wanted guidance on prevention and what to expect. The call lasted about 10 minutes, and I was told there was nothing to discuss unless I was already experiencing symptoms and that I should call back once they started.
I was also told that my health insurance would cover the visit, which turned out not to be true. Despite receiving no meaningful guidance, I was charged $200.
I tried calling customer service to address this, but there is no option to speak with anyone directly—only the ability to leave a message. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, misleading, and transactional. Very disappointing.
