Their website shows that Midi takes all the major insurance providers, but they only take three. When I met with a provider, she said she was sure they took BCBS PPO, so I continued my visit. My first provider couldn't prescribe what I needed, so I had to meet with another provider. I ended up with a bill after two fifteen-minute appointments for $400.00!

I cannot get a timely response from customer service/billing. I contacted Midi asking about insurance coverage ( my plan covers Midi but sadly Midi doesn’t accept it for my state). So I reached out to ask about getting a SuperBill to submit to my insurer for reimbursement. It took me calling and email multiple times over a 2 week period to get someone to say “yes, I’ll connect you to the billing department “ but I still haven’t actually gotten in contact with billing much less received a SuperBill. I’ve left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails over the course of a month. It’s ridiculous. My clinician was lovely though. She listened to my concerns and prescribed what I needed. I just wish the billing department was as attentive *edited to add that after I submitted the additional information Midi requested about my review to try and address my concerns I still have not heard back from them nor received a SuperBill

There is something wrong with your website as it does NOT allow for payment online. Your representative had to call me for credit card over the phone, which is not a secure way to do the transaction. Please fix your website

This is a virtual dr visit. I met with a nurse practitioner. She listened to my concerns about hot flashes and night sweats. The nurse practitioner prescribed estrogen and progesterone. I had no idea how much it would cost. I had verified that MidiHealth was in my insurance network. I had a followup visit too. I just found out that my first visit costs me $250 (no discount from insurance) and 2nd visit is $177. This is ridiculous for a VIRTUAL DR appointment. I wasn't charged that much for a dermatologist visit including a biopsy. So, for two visits $427 plus the cost of the Prescriptions.

Appt was fine. But now I’m going on 8 months since my appointment, and still haven’t been reimbursed. Billing office stopped responding to emails or returning calls. Will not recommend MIDI. Update: got a voicemail and an email 9/17. Multiple calls and emails back from me and…nothing. Almost 10 months since appt. Last update: received refund today 11/4/24

Impressed. AT FIRST. Completed intake, provided insurance info, straightforward scheduling, and was thrilled to get an appt the next day. My provider met expectations. I was looking for HRT prescriptions and this seemed easy to access and met my needs. UNTIL. I received a bill for $250. I have a PPO plan and both the MIDI website and my insurance website said I was in network. MIDI changed me to self-pay without notifying me. I tried to find a place to re-enter insurance info in my portal and could find no option. I made several attempts to call, always getting a message that no one was available. I finally got a response via email, which was vague and didn't address my question. I replied with screenshots of their website and my insurance website proving that I was in network and asked them to run it through again. I'm still waiting to hear back but so far, just daily reminders to pay my bill. I've been an RN for many years and have also worked in the customer service side of health care. It's unacceptable that they didn't notify me when switching me to self-pay especially since my plan is in network. The lack of response in attempts to resolve is adding greatly to the frustration.

I have messaged twice and called once about billing insurance, and cannot get anyone to respond. This is so frustrating, given that Midi advertises as insurance-friendly.

I made my appointment after uploading my insurance information and being told they accept my insurance. I have since received a bill for the full appointment amount. I have emailed twice, with no response, asking them what the problem is. I have a follow up appointment scheduled next week, but am hesitant to keep it and receive another bill for $250. I am beyond frustrated.
