My husband and I recently switched from MOCHI to EMBODY because we simply could not afford the prices at MOCHI any longer. They charged a monthly subscription fee on top of the Tirzepatide so we were paying $550/month. With EMBODY, we are only paying $260/month for the same medication and dose. My intake process went well, Ianina Metcalf was very attentive and communicative and processed my medication quickly. I received the Tirzepatide the next week. My husband has had a completely different experience. No one even touched his account for days after signing up (we signed up at the same time). Then they asked for proof of current prescription which we sent them 3 times before they acknowledged receiving it. I was never asked for proof of my current prescription. He would get text messages requesting certain information then emails asking for something else. It was very confusing. Then he waited days for someone to prescribe the medication. It still hasn't been shipped though. The shipment has already been delayed 3 weeks. Our next payment is coming up and they still haven't even sent the first shipment. My husband and I signed up the same day and we are having two completely different experiences with this company. EMBODY needs to improve their customer service and intake process. Clearly their customer representatives are not following a standardized process, or they have employees who are simply not doing their jobs. Either way, they need to do something to improve customer service. If the issues with my husband's account are corrected, I am willing to increase to 4 stars. If not, I guess we will need to cancel both of our accounts.

THIS COMPANY HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE IN HISTORY!! Customer service reps are completely incompetent!! I've been trying to get my order for A WEEK!!! I've been waiting for a call from an account manager for TWO DAYS!!

We hear your frustration. After a week of trying to get your order resolved, being promised a manager callback and then waiting another two days without hearing from anyone only adds to an already difficult experience. This should not require repeated follow-ups just to get a clear answer. We’d like your order status and the missed escalation reviewed so you can get the resolution you’ve been waiting for.

I attempted to work with them as their cost was good but upon doing research I found that at least two of their partner pharmacies had received FDA Warning letters on practices related to compounding ( Triad RX (resolved) and Boothwyn (active). You can review this information on the USDA website. I was very clear and I have all the communications in writing via email that due to those concerns I wanted to review with a provider before the prescription was sent so that I could research them for regulatory issues and in email they responded and agreed. I'm very aware the FDA does not regulate the compund drugs themselves but do monitor the facilities and operational practices. Embody did the opposite. They sent me a visit summary without me speaking to a provider and when I called they actually sent my script to one of the pharmacies that would be of concern. I called immediately when I got the email my prescription was sent to pharmacy and being processed for delivery to investigate why they had not followed through with contacting me prior and they told me there was nothing they could do once the prescription was sent and I could speak to a provider now which does nothing. The rep I spoke to said I could cancel the next dose but was essentially stuck and financially responsible for this one. I also wanted to know what additives were being added to the medications it is normal practice to include things like b12 or other supplements and I wanted to clarify exactly what was in the script sent. I found some research that I wanted to discuss that show some contraindications for certain additives while compounding could be a biased study but wanted to discuss it with provider. While many of us choose services like this due to cost there is safety in those higher cost providers that carry fda regulated medications. Embody will put you into a position that once the prescription is sent they cannot return or stop it and you are stuck with those costs with a potentially problematic script from a problematic facility. Update: upon this review and me sending and email all over the company and caring mutiple times they actually changed the pharmacy to one without a tarnished record. I was initially told Triad Pharmacy by the customer service rep and after my communications they emailed me and sent it to another pharmacy called Beaker that was not initially disclosed to me as a pharmacy partner. Beaker does not have any FDA warning regulations posted to date. And the tone of their email was very clear they were attempting to discredit my claims and concerns to shut me up. These are shady people. I will not be doing any business with them moving forward.

We appreciate you taking the time to explain your concerns in detail. Questions about the pharmacy preparing your medication, its formulation, and its regulatory history are completely reasonable questions to raise with your care team. We also recognize that you specifically asked to discuss these concerns with a provider before your prescription was sent to a pharmacy. From what you’ve described, that communication did not happen in the order you expected, and we understand why that affected your confidence in the process. Pharmacy partners are licensed and subject to applicable state and federal oversight, and regulatory history can include findings as well as subsequent corrective actions. We take concerns about medication quality and pharmacy partners seriously and would never want a patient to feel that questions about their prescribed medication were being dismissed. We’re glad an alternative pharmacy was ultimately arranged, but we recognize that this came only after considerable effort on your part. Thank you for raising these concerns and for giving us feedback on where communication and transparency need to be better.
