Amble Health has been a great partner in my weight loss journey. It's been about a year that I have been a customer, and I have had no complaints. A telehealth company that has timely shipping along with follow up reminders. Recently, Amble Health sent out a survey where they promised a $10-dollar discount on your next refill if you complete the questionnaire. It's been well over a month and still nothing to my inbox. What gives Amble Health?

My experience was good, my dosage was increased slightly every month until the last one where the dosage was for a new patient and of no value to me.

I had done 3 mths of semaglutide via a local med spa that used a local compounding pharmacy and lost 2-3 lbs a week for 1st 5-6 weeks then 1-2/week. I noticed a dramatic change in appetite. It worked. But was $300 more than Amble so I decided to try Amble. Amble is noticeably less effective. I still have cravings for sweets and carbs, whereas those completely disappeared the first time around. The dosing is weaker I think than what I had prior, 25mg vs 50mg..anyway, I wouldn't do Amble again..it is helping me maintain the weight loss and occasionally lose a lb that I regain and just bounce around like that a bit-- just inconsistent impact and I just don't feel the consistent impact on hunger as I did with my original semaglutide. I think all these fly by night pharmacies probably do the same--watered down treatment to keep you paying/subscribed longer. Go with a local medspa and compounding pharmacy.

So both me and my wife both ordered from Amble. The communication was good and the approval was quick. The areas of weakness which I would recommend to amble to fix is their shipping protocol. While other companies I have used do overnight shipping they use Fed Ex 2 day shipping. This caused my vial to come completely warm even with ice packs. They have a pamphlet from Revive RX stating not to be concerned about it coming warm and that it can be warm and non refrigerated for up to 21 days if the meds are below 86 degrees. I called Revive and they stated that they have tested their shipping and it’s safe for up to 96 hours shipping time before it gets above the 86 degrees threshold. While this may be true it was not a good feeling and unless they switch to overnight shipping I will switch to another provider. The other issue with the 2 day shipping is that my wife’s order didn’t get processed at pharmacy until a Thursday and since they use 2 day shipping instead of shipping on a Thursday it was moved to ship the following Monday which caused almost 2 week turnaround time from approval till she received the meds. One other thing is while they did include syringes it didn’t include alcohol pads which was strange. Everything else was great and easy but the 2 day shipping killed their rating.

The process with Amble was seemingly the prices are fantastic. The only issues that I do have with them is that there’s such a delay in responding when you have a question or you need a little bit more attention than just taking my money and send my meds big issue I have I guess with a lot of them is that You don’t get to pick what pharmacy your meds come from and I think that should be an option if you deal with five or more pharmacies does the patient not have a say so in the pharmacy when I get a script? I have a choice whether I’m gonna go to Publix, CVS Walgreens, etc. I have a choice and I think we’re spending kind of money to spend on these medication. You should still have a choice . **** updating - The conversation via the Amble chat started on 6/1/2024 was the day that I asked my question about the pharmacy and being able to pick the one that I want. I got my response back on 6/4/24. Still not why a client can’t pick. Then my card was trying to be ran for a charge in order that I had not stated if I wanted to stay the same or go up or if I wanted the nausea medication which I didn’t use the first time. But I had froze my card thank goodness because I would have been charged. I was changed the first order $424 the meds where $379 the Ondansetron was $45 so I asked what the $80 was for didn’t get an answer it was just left open ended as I was explained the above charges. Then that’s what my experience was. The $379 is great but some people need more than just a chat. Which is ok also. The trying to charge my account not cool.

I want to be completely fair and transparent with my review. I joined Amble back in February. Initially when I signed up the process was seamless. I was already on compound Tirzepatide, therefore I did not need to start out on the "Introductory package" ( will explain later) with Amble. The doctor responded within 24 hrs, I was immediately approved and my prescription sent to the pharmacy. I received my meds from Revive Rx within 7 business day, packaging was excellent, very well protected.Fast Forward to month two I was charged twice in one month for 1 shipment, charged $379 on 03/11 and another $379 on 03/15. With the introductory package, mentioned above you have to commit to 3 month supply. Since I am on the higher dose I am on a month-to-month plan, no commitment, therefore I should not have been charged twice. After notifying Amble of the billing issue I was not given a response of "we will provide you with a refund". I was made to feel as though I was in the wrong. I had to send multiple messages back and forth with receipts to prove myself. I eventually received my refund. Month three my shipment came from Revive, 4 days later I received a text message from the pharmacy, on a Saturday when the pharmacy is close instructing me not to take the medication and that I should return the vial ASAP as it needs additional testing, no additional explanation. I was worried the entire weekend because I did take the meds and wasn't sure what was wrong. I returned it and Revive sent a replacement vial. I am not trying to bash Amble. All Telehealth companies have growing pains. Please note everyone's experience is different. Just sharing my own.

😂😂😂 Just fussed at and called passive aggressive for upgrading my review from 1 to 3 stars by an Amble representative. Please read my other reviews on Yelp, X, YouTube, Facebook and on this site. I review honestly and on THIS site only left 5 star reviews. I will be posting my honest review on my accounts with Over 25k followers. (I am upgrading this from 1 start to 3 stars for the following reason. I received a Phone Call from this company regarding my review. I was asked if there was a way to clarify and make things right. I am a reasonable person, so I agreed. If you are going to order from Amble please know: 1. The phone number doesn't work because this is not their business model. They can only offer chat:email service to keep costs down. 2. When the "charge" pops up on your phone, it is a pending charge. Rest assured, your card is not charged until AFTER you hear from a physician. Please don't be anxious. 3. The physician will not contact you before 24 hours as I was so gently reminded by the staff. They are a very busy company with over 4k inquiries. 4. Also, to keep costs down, you may receive a call if you leave a negative review. 5. The reason for doing a pending charge the "entire" amount is because they have "wasted" doctors time on people who do not have the available amount on said card: (this could easily be fixed by doing the pending charge immediately before a consultation) See how easy this was Amble? A simple email letting me know the charge was only pending and waiting doctors approval would have solved this instead of a "fussy fix~it" phone call. I asked a very specific question, after I saw the charge "pop up" on my phone and became anxious. A quick 3 sentence email or 4 -minute phone call would have avoided all of this. Previous review; ((I am extremely anxious about this company. They ask for your credit card number and charge you immediately without you speaking with or chatting with a doctor. The phone number is disconnected so I have zero chance of getting an answer.))
