Someone used my work email address to create a profile. I requested the deletion of all my data and received confirmation from support. However, I am still receiving emails from this company.

Signing up for jobscan.co was straightforward. However, my experience using it to optimise my resume for job applications was disappointing. The keyword suggestions generated by the platform seemed irrelevant to many of the positions I applied for. Additionally, regardless of the job description my score consistently remained around 58%. This lack of variation made it difficult to gauge the effectiveness of the tool. It would be helpful if jobscan.co could provide more transparency regarding the algorithm used for keyword selection and scoring. Additionally, seeing examples of successful resumes with high scores corresponding to specific job types could be beneficial for users. While I wasn't able to leverage jobscan.co to improve my job search significantly, perhaps it functions better for certain industries or resume formats. Overall: If you're looking for a basic resume builder with a keyword suggestion feature, jobscan.co might be sufficient. However, for a more dynamic and personalised resume optimisation experience, I would recommend exploring alternative solutions.

I've used their own ats template to make a resume and scored 55. its funny that even when you use their own template it says you didn't mention work experience title. Its a cheap strategy to score your resume low to get to your money

Hi Kevin, Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear that you encountered issues with the ATS template and your resume score. We contacted you on June 14, 2024, requesting your account details, but we haven't received a response yet. Jobscan aims to provide accurate and helpful feedback to improve your resume. The template itself is designed to be ATS-friendly, but the content within it—such as specific job titles, keywords, and formatting—also plays a crucial role in the scoring process. It's possible that the system didn't recognize certain elements due to formatting or phrasing. We'd be happy to look into this further and help you resolve any issues. Could you please provide a copy of the resume you used or any specific details about the feedback you received? You can send it to us at [email protected]. We genuinely want to assist you in optimizing your resume and ensuring you have the best tools for your job search.

I uploaded my CV and the job description on Jobscan. It gave me a score of 52 and asked me to enter my address in my CV! It asked me to "Adding this job's company name and web address can help us provide you ATS-specific tips. Add missing scan information" and it mentioned that I should include the "Cheif data officer" word as the JD has that the CDO will take my interview. Hire me I can fix that, Jobscan

I just spent three hours on your platform, converting my résumé to ATS and updating the content - THREE HOURS! - when I got a pop-up informing me that job scan is experiencing technical difficulties and cannot save my work & do I want to revert to the original? Are you effing kidding me – three hours I just wasted - all my work gone. Shame on jobscan.co!!! You better believe I’m going to find every platform containing your reviews and write About what an unreliable waste of time your product is. JOBSCAN IS A USELESS WASTE OF MONEY - unreliable & poorly designed - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - for ATS conversion use to another platform!!!!

No longer trust worthy. I'm a premium /paid user and in the last month the number of interviews I received dropped off a cliff. I have used the regular scanning and scoring for 2+ months since I didn't like the way Power Edit worked and reformatted my resume with errors. Also trying to use Power Edit after scanning provided few suggestion prompts or didn't work at all. This week I ran one job description / resume using regular scanning it scored 78. Ran it thru Power Edit scan from the start and it scored 36! Contacted Customer Service and asked why the discrepancy? Response was the New Power Edit was updated to reflect updates to ATS systems. This was never noted on my user dashboard. No information anywhere that standard scanning is out of date and from my experience worthless. I have wasted hours optimizing resumes. For leaving outdated tools on the site and the lack of transparency Jobscan.co no longer worthy of my trust.

I cancelled it pretty much straight away, yet they still took £70 out of my account. I need this money back! I didn't find it helpful, it was more annoying! Took too many unnecessary keywords out of the job description. UPDATE: Refund has not received (1/5/2024) ????? UPDATE: Refund still not received (19/5/2024) ??
