If you are looking for a positive work environment where you can achieve a healthy work/life balance, then this is the place to be working. I admire the hardworking and supportive people I work with daily and being a mom while working has never been this stress-free.

I am proud to have been working with Job Duck for almost a year now. It took me two weeks to go through the application process and it was worth it. The company's culture is amazing and it really makes me excited about my professional life. For a fully remote company, it must certainly be challenging to develop a great and engaging working culture, but Job Duck totally succeeds at this. We have a very good work/life balance, which is key for me, and, therefore, I am very glad I was given the opportunity to join this company!

This is the best job opportunity I have ever had. Everyone at Job Duck is so supportive and collaborative, it makes you feel like you are in the right place. There is always room for growth and improvement and the salary is paid correctly and always on time. Also, you work from home so you don't have to waste your time and money on commuting. I am immensely happy here! I was looking for a change because I didn't feel comfortable or satisfied with my previous job, so if you are doubting about it or you don't know if you should apply, believe me, it is worth it. Give it a try, you won't regret!

Let's get real. When I applied to Job Duck was in the middle of the pandemic and 100% remote work was a must since I have a daughter to look after. I passed all the challenges (yes, it was different than any other selection process) but the thing is working there is AMAZING. I can take care of my kids (now I have 2), log in and log out at a fixed hour (no extra hours at all). I just have so much quality time with my family and I'm no longer complaining about traffic, commute, and leaving my kids in daycare. It's been great for me as a mom!

I came across Job Duck in November 2020. I liked their job ad, so I applied. I've been working here since then and I can truly say I've found the best place to work - for me and many others. It's not just the "work from home" thing, which is very appealing, but the people that make up the company are amazing. The application process wasn't easy, and neither is the job I got since the standards and expectations are high; every day comes with a new set of challenges, but working through them as part of an incredible team is part of the fun. I hope to have the pleasure of working here for many more years :)

Excellent company I'm from El Salvador and I have a developer position and the entire process was as detailed on the job post after the trial period that was 3 months long, my salary was increased and I get the payments on the established dates on my bank account, I enjoy having a fixed scheduled and knowing that I don't have to work after hours or overnight shifts as when you work on the IT department that is a common thing to have to deal with in other companies. To keep it short there is no company in El Salvador that can match the work environment as you are developing solutions for the company, the salary, traveling and the big benefit of having a permanent remote position and enjoying a real work life balance.

I applied for The Job Duck after seeing an ad on Instagram. The add was clear about the basic salary: $800 USD for a Virtual Assistant position. This salary in the US is definitely a big no-no (I don't even think it is legal to pay $5/hour there) but the thing is, they're only looking for people offshore. In my country that is definitely not a bad salary, IF it includes any type of benefits (here, the type of contract they offer must include health and retirement benefits, among others). The thing is, the whole recruiting process is VERY long, VERY time consuming and very little is explained about the position itself. The process has many different stages, which they call "challenges". Some of them include recording a video and writing an essay talking about why you think companies in the US should hire talent offshore (come on, we all know they do it so they can pay as little as possible...). Keep in mind, they take more than a week to let you know whether or not you "passed the challenge". One of the final steps is an interview. It's the longest interview I've ever had. I do have to say I found the questions interesting and unique, and I actually did very well, but I do think many people could feel intimidated by them. (one of the questions I got was "what's your favorite dish you make and what are the steps to make it"). Keep in mind, by the time I had the interview, it had been over a month since the whole process started and I still knew very little about the position, the company, the salaries, etc. After I "completed all the challenges" I had a meeting with my "recruiting coach". That's when I finally got more info, and when I realized I had wasted my time on that long process. So basically: the next step was to start the training process, which they call "Duck University". The training was about a week long and it was paid ($100 USD). After you "graduate" you move on to signing a contract. BUT, this doesn't mean you'll start getting paid, the contract states that you'll move on to the "match-making stage" which means they'll start showing your profile to different companies, and, if they are interested, you'll have interviews and hopefully one of them will take you. Once you're "matched" with a company, that's when you'll start getting paid. it could take weeks from the time you "graduate" to the moment you actually start working. By this point, it's probably been over 2 months since you first applied, and you've only received $100. Keep in mind, graduating and doing the whole matchmaking thing doesn't mean you'll actually find a match. Now, the salary is $800, as previously stated, but that doesn't include any benefits, doesn't cover any job related taxes your country might have, nothing. In my case, I would have to take around $300 off my salary to pay for different things that must be paid in my country by law. I know this was a long Review, but I think I would have preferred to take a few minutes reading something like this, rather than wasting over a month with The Job Duck.
