JJ’s has a great selection of flat caps. I understand that they have a high profile NY Fifth Avenue brick and mortar store that cost $$$$ to operate but charging more than double what their competitors charge for the same hat makes a person think twice.

The new JJ Hats
Good product, wide selection. However hats require the advice of an expert and this was swept away by the foreign owner in the servitude of profit. The store has lost it’s soul.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind words about our products and selection. We are pleased to hear that you appreciate the quality of our hats and the breadth of our assortment. At the same time, we are sorry to learn that your experience did not reflect the level of expertise and personal service you associate with JJ Hat Center. As the oldest hat shop in New York, we deeply value the craftsmanship, knowledge, and traditions that have defined JJ Hat Center for generations. Preserving that heritage while continuing to invest in the future of the business is very important to us. Thank you again for your review and for being part of the JJ Hat Center story. Best regards JJ Hat Center

That hat was a gift for my husband
That hat was a gift for my husband, to replace a worn out favorite. He was pleased, until he found out how much I paid for the hat.
