My vehicle uses synthetic oil and is expensive enough, without having to worry if the job is done correctly. Turns out my last oil change(1500 miles ago) the drain plug was split and the oil filter was put in wrong. I was losing oil and needed to get another oil change at another place. My confidence is shaken with Jiffy Lube and I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Went in for an oil change for my Scion FRS. Walked away $282 poorer. I needed a special oil filter because the Scion uses special oil, I needed a cabin air filter, I needed an engine air filter. And that $282 was after deducting $10 as a courtesy. Never again! Go to a reputable dealership instead. 👍👍

I got upsold on a coolant flush that the manager said I needed at 30,000 miles, which I later found to be recommended by the manufacturer at 100,000 miles. Happy I at least turned down the brake work they wanted to do!

The service was fast and great. I left and didn't look d I wn at the floor. When I did look down when I got home oil and boot marks were all over my carpet mat. Other wise good service.

So I took my vehicle to a Jiffy Lube near me. It's my wife's car and she was off for a day off so thought would be a good time to get oil change and a transmission service. Tire rotate wouldn't hurt either. What I figured would be at most a hour wait turned into a almost two hour wait. I was never given an explanation for delays or a apology from them. As someone who used to work in a service shop it's irresponsible not to keep customers waiting informed about delays. I think if you just need a quick oil change you might seek out one of these quick lube places. Any further maintenance or repair go to a more professional and skilled service shop. These places used to only specialize in oil changes but now have branched out into more money maker services. Maybe sometime you don't even need. I certainly would not trust these people at the Jiffy lube to do brake jobs, tune ups or more complex repairs. These reviews show a lot of negative reviews and experiences with Jiffy Lube's and many are independently owned. They are franchised and Jiffy Lube corporate passes any complaints onto the franchisee and accept no fault for a customers bad experience with the store. Because most good shops require an appointment and I was wanting a service that day. I fell into the trap of having to rely on a Quick lube place for a service. You pay a price for that convenience and you may not get a good experience either. My advice, plan ahead get full service shop to do work on your vehicle, let them get familiar with you and your vehicle so they can understand your expectations. They will also treat your vehicle more personally than just another one driving through the quick lube lane.

Took my truck into the downtown Dallas location. They charged me a lot more then I expected and took forever. Work seems fine though.

jiffy lube changed my truck oil, next year took it back for another oil change they told me the oil plug bolt is stripped, I said you guys did it last year, they said it might be an old truck, WHAT? SO DONT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DESTROY YOU CAR!

Visited the Jiffy Lube located near me for an oil change today and while I always appreciate the swift service, I was disappointed In the mishaps. I requested the JL signature oil change with full synthetic and I shared my tires we low, if they could check the tire pressure. Finished up, drove away and my car was still sending pop up notification for low tire pressure. I checked the JL website to confirm what services are offered with the signature oil change and checking tire pressure is def listed. This made me wonder what other services were not provided. They didn’t vacuum the inside of my vehicle or clean my windows. My receipt says “tire pressure complete” however they certainly didn’t check this. I drove back and asked them to put air in my tires.
