Awful cheap fake jewellery
Awful cheap fake jewellery. These are not genuine sterling silver. I was given the birthstone set as a gift. I wore the earrings for a few hours and it made my ears so sore they bled. That only happens to me if it’s cheap nickel. It explains why they say it’s coated in rhodium. They make it shine to cover the cheap nickel. Also why say emerald in your listing when it’s cheap green crystal. I’m sure they’ll respond with a list of excuses as they have done to other negative reviews. However, It doesn’t change the fact that they’re selling cheap crap from Temu! Save your money and buy from someone reputable. Would not recommend! Update 29 July 2026 My update since the merchants long winded response. I gave an honest review, negative yes, but it is honest. Trying to get this review removed is a red flag in itself. If mine was the only complaint I doubt you’d care, I suspect there are more which is why you want it removed. If a buyer wants to waste their money on jewellery they can’t wear I’m sure they’ll continue to buy from you. It does look very pretty in the box though.

The birthstones used in these sets are crystals representing the relevant birth month and are not advertised as natural emeralds or other natural precious gemstones, this clear in the title, description and price. We also do not source these sets from Temu. We requested further information solely so that we could identify the order, inspect the particular item and investigate your concerns properly. However ear bleeding can very commonly occur with pierced earrings for a number of reasons entirely unrelated to the metal, including a new or healing piercing, wearing earrings for extended periods or simply the physical nature of pierced jewellery. Sensitivity can also occur with rhodium plating in rare cases even where the base metal is genuine sterling silver. Neither of these indicates the presence of nickel.
