Just remodeled an apartment. Avoid JENNAIR. There are BAD.
Just remodeled an apartment. Terrible experience with Jennair. Specifically the cooktop and wall oven. Cooktop is useless, works VERY poorly, no buttons and very dim backlight, so you cannot see anything. 2 burners cannot work together. No manuals no videos available. Customer service is the worst. I am being told that I am basically on my own, They sent a technician from a company called flamingo. The guy did not even have a screwdriver with him. Since he did not know the appliance, and he even recognized haw bad it was, he called for advice another useless "technician" who asked him to remove the speaker so that I could not hear. I hope this will help potential users to use other brands, much more reliable, and less expensive. What a shame.

I bought Jenn air double ovens May…
I bought Jenn air double ovens May 2025, which by the way were not cheap. I had to have my ovens serviced 4 times because of the panel. August 2026 i finally get the ovens replaced with new ones (different model) for them not to work that same night. Called Customer service again and am now waiting on possibly getting new ovens again. I have literally been cooking with a toaster oven for the past 1.5 yrs. Im so done! They offerrd me $250 gift card. Ridiculous!

Former Jenn-Air fan
I am a long-time Jenn-Air appliance user, and in fact put all Jenn-Air appliances (except for a Bosch dishwasher) in a kitchen remodel we did in 2020. The ice dispenser just stopped working on my built in refrigerator model several months ago. Jenn-Air arranged a service call, and it was diagnosed as an auger motor failure so the ice couldn't dispense. Service guy ordered the part and told me 4 weeks. Six weeks later, I was told the part was unavailable and they would be unable to fix the fridge, but that I was welcome to try to source the part from somewhere else. Thus began the search for the unicorn part, and I paid top dollar to Grainger, which still hasn't delivered the part to me. Another phone call with Jenn-Air reveals that they no longer make or distribute that part, so basically they can't help me and I am sitting on an expensive refrigerator with no way to fix the ice dispenser. And they really don't care that this is a problem since it's out of the warranty period. Their advice was to keep trying to find the part somewhere else and maybe I'll get lucky.
They have lost me as a customer forever. I will never buy another Jenn-Air appliance.

Jenn Air products are not worth the money
Build the product to last and not just up to the warranty. Stock and manufacture replacement parts so customers are not forced to replace a $6000 oven combo because of this.

Avoid Jennair
We bought a Jennair double wall oven. This supposed luxury brand has been by far the worst consumer experience I have ever had in 50 years. The circuit board has died twice and getting the new part has been a nightmare. On both occasions we were told it is on back order and the wait has been several months. The company can’t give a timeline and could care less. I would recommend you steer clear of all Jennair products.
We purchased a Jenn-Air electric double oven range in February 2025, expecting the quality and reliability that a premium appliance brand claims to offer. Instead, this has been one of the worst appliance purchases we've ever made.
Within the first three months of ownership, the oven began displaying F3E1 error codes and would shut down unexpectedly. A service technician was sent out and replaced the temperature sensor. While that temporarily resolved the issue, the fix only lasted a few months before the exact same problem returned.
We were once again left without a functioning oven and had to schedule another repair. This time, the technician determined that the entire control board needed to be replaced. Having major electronic components fail within the first year is unacceptable for any appliance, especially one in this price range.
What's even more unbelievable is that less than two weeks after the control board replacement, the entire range died completely. The display won't power on, the elements don't work, and neither oven is functional. The appliance is essentially a very expensive paperweight.
As a family with a toddler, having a reliable oven isn't a luxury—it's a necessity. Instead of enjoying a premium appliance, we've spent our first year of ownership dealing with repeated breakdowns, service appointments, replacement parts, and the frustration of not knowing when the next failure will happen.
The most disappointing part is that this isn't normal wear and tear. These failures started almost immediately after purchase and have continued despite multiple repair attempts. At this point, it feels like we're troubleshooting a defective product rather than owning a high-end appliance.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers to think very carefully before purchasing a Jenn-Air range. Reliability has been nonexistent, and our confidence in the product is completely gone. Given that Jenn-Air is part of the Whirlpool family of brands, this experience has also made us reluctant to consider Whirlpool or KitchenAid products in the future.
When you spend thousands of dollars on a premium appliance, you expect years of dependable service. We didn't even get a few months.
Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

$65,000 Lost on Poor Appliances and worse service
$65,000 on appliances.
I should have bought Samsung and a BMW.
The only thing that separates high quality brands from each other should be service, customer care, and treating customers who went all-in on Jennaire have good experiences.
DO NOT BUY THIS AMERICAN BRAND.
customer care is non-existant.
The second the warranty dies, so do their appliances.
Dishwasher - $1800 top rack - broken 2 days after the warranty
Fridge - $16,000, lights died, filter box can't be accessed, and the ice level bar snapped off in week 2.
Stove - $26,000 (not including backsplash and venting)
Every knob on the front... 10 of 11 - broken and useless. Imagine an oven you can only really know if its on the right setting by checking in the app!
This is not a company for which anyone should be proud to be a part.
Terrible service
Hisense dreams at caviar price
Regret hums softly
Livid. I will never buy another appliance from any Whirlpool product line.

JennAir is trash
I rarely leave review but after spending over $12,000 on JennAir fridge and freezer columns, I can say they are cheaply built or I got 2 lemons.
I had them professionally installed by Nebraska Furniture Mart and all electrical and water hookups were professionally installed to meet specs.
I have now had 6 ice makers replaced and the current one is not working again and the water dispenser is now broken for the 2nd time and has always periodically stopped working for a few days at a time.
Diamond appliance is the only authorized repair company for this brand in Kansas City and it takes weeks to get service and parts.
I’ve had a $300 fridge for 25 years sitting in my garage and never had to replace anything but light bulbs.
The JennAir is a beautiful fridge/freezer but it is trash and the company doesn’t stand behind the product beyond the warranty period even though the issues have always been the same.
I would never recommend their products.
