Jenn-AirReviews of jennair.com

My sister-in-law loved the Jenn Air stove until it became unfixable. Bought 36 inch slide range gas and gas. Earl B. FIEDEN Clifton Park NY replaced the thermostat 3 times. She can't believe after spending $5,000 this stove only lasted me 11 years. "She will never or recommend Jenn Air ever again."

I purchased my Microwave / Oven Combonation in Feb 2018 the Motherboard malfunctioned less than a year and had to be replaced, Now it has gone out again that would be Three motherboards in less tha six years. Called the Approved service company and they will not even give me a estimate for repair cost. I now understand why manufacturers have class action lawsuits. This equipment is junk and this company is running a sham on the public.

Another day with no response. We are still without a working 100% JennAir oven. No one gets back to us and we just sit. They are all usless, the manufacturer, the appliance store, the extended warranty company and the service techs. STAY AWAY FROM ALL WHIRLPOOL products, just DO NOT DO IT!

Similar to the majority of reviews posted here, the service is horrible. I understand that parts can be on back order, but when dates and promises are given there should be some attempt at contacting a customer if they are unable to follow through. It shouldn't be up to the customer to chase down answers. If that wasn't bad enough, the attitude of Adele in customer service is poor at best. NO attempt to explain, or apologize. I was made to feel that I was the problem for interrupting her day. I will be staying far away from Jennair/Whirlpool in the future.

Second replacement control panel since oven was installed in 2018. $950 this round. Stay away from Jenn Air, far away.

My microwave and oven wall combination has been inoperable for more than 8 months. I have contacted the service number and a technician came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. It was ok back ordered. He told me he would be in touch in the next 2 weeks to update me with an ETA. He never called back. I have called several times and I keep being told they will reach out to the technician to call me. They say he should have been able to get the part. It has literally been 8 months and NOTHING. I have a useless oven and microwave so I am cooking with an air fryer and BBQ. Jenn Air/Whirlpool lacks any type of costumer care. There appliances are very expensive but they constantly break and there is zero concern for customers or accountability.

Jenn-Air products are not worth the money or the headache! We have been through TWO Jenn-Air double ovens with convection in the last 5 years. They both came with self cleaning and was told by the service repair man that selling this feature is an oxymoron: Use it and it will fry your mother board. I had no idea! With the first oven, I used once a year, that's what fried the motherboard. We went ahead and got another one and this time I followed the service repairman's advice: I didn't use the cleaning function at all (How much is this added feature to an oven YOU CANNOT USE?) and the motherboard burnt out again. Was it because I used the convection oven this time? After our second one went out, we were told it would cost $2800 to repair, that we are better off buying something new and not Jenn-Air but before you do that, call them again and tell them this is your second oven in less than 5 years., they might do something for you. We called, and the women who happened to be on the other end of the call, didn't try to work with us, did try anything! We are SOL! AND ANOTHER $5000 OUT OF POCKET! AGAIN! DO NOT BE SOLD ON "HIGH LINE APPLIANCE". DO NOT BE SOLD ON LUXURY BRAND! DO NOT BE SOLD BEAUTY! THIS COMPANY SUCKS! AND THEY FRANKLY DON'T GIVE A DAMN, DARLING! Our Jenn-air stove top went out after 4 years and had to buy a new one because the igniter was no longer made. Another $2300 out of pocket in one year!
