My husband and I, and two other couples who are our best friends, took "The Mountains and Lakes of Switzerland and Italy" trip to celebrate our 50th, 25th, and 49th anniversaries. It was a spectacular trip that was enjoyed by all. Although we have all travelled fairly extensively, none of us had been to any of these locations which is what drew us to this itinerary. Switzerland is spectacularly beautiful, as is Lake Como in Italy. JayWay helped us plan the trip start to finish, and our points of contact in both Switzerland and Italy helped smooth out any questions/issues once we were there. The customized website they developed for us which contained all the details of our trip including a lot more information on each of our locations, was extremely helpful as well. We had a great experience with JayWay and would definitely use them again.

Our 3rd trip with JayWay Travel was to Croatia and Slovenia and it was spectacular from the planning phase until the end of our vacation. Great communication during planning and while on trip. Interactive website is a very efficient and informative during the trip planning and final documents phase. The email and phone communications were exceptional in planning phase and while on trip. Staff was very professional and helpful.

JayWay planned our trip to Italy and Switzerland and we got a lot more than we expected. The level of hands-on support from start through the trip was incredible. We had a number of travel issues, all due to our airline and our own mistakes, and the people at JayWay were always available, even at 1 AM. Everything else was run perfectly. We couldn't ask for more from a travel company and will use them for all of our planned European trips.

My husband and I have now taken 4 trips with JayWay and our 5th is already scheduled. We are huge fans! For years I planned all of our trips myself. I love working with JayWay because I am still able to customize our trips however I am able to use their expertise in the process. And most important for us are the personal guides they have gotten for us. We are independent travelers and finding the right guides was always hard and alot of work for me - but with JayWay...well we are more than satisfied! All of the guides - on all of the trips - have been fantastic!

Thanks to some of our good friends who passed on their recommendation, we have had the incredible good fortune to use JayWay Travel to help us plan our most recent trips, the last to Greece in May 2026. The planning process was easy and seamless. We had ample opportunity to provide input into our itinerary, with easy exchange of ideas with our trip planner to create the perfect trip, customized for us. Once our itinerary was in place, we had access to our guest page and JayWay's experts as we refined some of our highlights and experiences. All of our drivers, guides and tours were arranged in advance as well as our accommodations, internal flights and other transport. Our guest page also offered suggestions and ideas for additional excursions along the way as well as favorite restaurants in each of our destinations. Once on the ground in Greece (as well as on our last adventure in central Europe) our local travel expert from JayWay checked in on us regularly, providing just as much support as we needed. We even met her in person while visiting her home city of Athens. She was lovely and awesome, walking us through our entire itinerary and making sure we had everything we needed. Along the way, our local guides were fantastic--smart, insightful and extremely professional. Our drivers were respectful and excellent. We felt totally taken care of while traveling and we remarked that we will "never go back" to stringing a multi-city trip together on our own. Several of our guides even mentioned (unsolicited) that JayWay was "topnotch". We felt it. We felt supported, cared for, and looked after--all the things you love about a tour group without having to travel alongside 25 random strangers for two weeks. We will continue to come back to JayWay as long as we travel to destinations that they serve...hopefully they will add even more! We could not be happier, now TWICE, with our choice of JayWay. Five stars without hesitation! Our trip through Madrid, Porto and Lisbon was beautifully planned by JayWay travel and perfectly suited to our interests in art, architecture, and exploring local neighborhoods. Every recommendation was excellent, the logistics were effortless and the entire experience felt personalized rather than packaged. Every guide that we had shared a true enthusiasm for their city and a passion for its art and culture.We came home with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation of Spain and Portugal. My husband and I, traveled to Portugal and Spain for 14 days in May with arrangements made through JayWay travel. Making the arrangements was pretty easy I worked with the local contact to choose some excursions, hotels and manner of transport. They were pretty accommodating with changes that had to be made and understanding my preferences. We arrived in Lisbon and were greeted by our destination expert at our hotel. She was extremely personable and knowledgeable. She remained an excellent source of information throughout our stay ensuring all connections were made and that the tours went well. The tours we took were excellent, the guides were all punctual and energetic and made each tour enjoyable while providing information about local history and customs. All transportation to different locations worked out well and it was reassuring to know that someone was available locally should any challenges develop. The my Guest page provided by JayWay was very helpful in keeping everything in one place and easily accessible. The information on the locations and suggestions for other activities as well as restaurants recommendation was very useful. This trip worked out well, we had a great time and even had arranged for another family member to join us along the way. Would definitely recommend JayWay and will consider using them in the future.
