Sustained a cervical spine injury…
Sustained a cervical spine injury whereon my head turned sideways when I was young, before 2nd grade . As a result I have always had a lean in my spine that drops on of my shoulders from behind my jaw . I above many notice what this device does, not just from studying anatomy as a trainer but because that twist goes up to my jaw (I have a more angulated jaw then most people so the fall I suffered was a little more damaging than it may have been to someone else) the back of my jaw literally came loose surprisingly in my mid 20s from this same injury. It's because of the awareness in this area that I can definitely see how the Jawzrcise tightens your face and positions the top of your neck by thickening the mastification muscles. I've chewed through one already (took a very long time ) and I'm on my second. I not only use the jawzrcise I flex my entire anterior triangle with it, I use it with my head backward (stuff you actually may not want to do in the gym) and I just started jogging with it (the momentum of your body moving really places an intense isometric pressure on your jaw even if your just trying to keep your mouth closed with the mouthpiece in) the Jawzrcise literally allows me to stand a chance at getting "on top, " of my injury. Otherwise I have no idea how I would easily work the soft tissues (above the neck) there are actually muscles that are literally associated with smiling and sort of, maintaining something like a better positive looking resting face that the Jawzrcise works but boy does it hurt. Using one of these might actually be the thing to show you a new type of mind-to-muscle connection that you need to even train hard. The Jawzrcise is a gamechanger for me especially, but even if I didn't have the cervical injury I have I would still use this just to tighten my face (but again it's only as good as you are tough enough to use it, it hurts to exercise your jaw!) HUGE round of applause to Brandon the guy who promotes the Jawzrcise and whoever else helped him develop the chain. Thank you. -Chris
