This is absolutely essential to ensure your setting and diamonds remain intact throughout the years, or first few months. After the multiple repairs you may face in just 12 months after purchase, you will need this financial support as you go forth with your lifetime commitment to this ring. Having received a new setting and new basket mount to replace my initial engagement ring due to a side diamond and center diamond falling off, my fiancé and I have utilized this policy to its fullest extent. We would have been responsible for the costs of these repairs if we had not purchased this warranty package. You must then prepare yourself and future spouse for a lifetime of replacements and dealing with individuals who see a diamond for its face value, an expensive rock. CAUTION As a parting remark, my fiancé and I do not plan on making future purchases from Jared nor would we recommend anyone based on our distrust and dissatisfaction with the quality of this engagement ring.
