to be honest from the first lesson with will ripley I learned something I was doing wrong, being a self-taught player, I learn things every time i take a lesson. Heck I even found out through Jam Play that the drivers on my sound and mic were outdated. i kept getting denied the badges because they couldn't hear me. jam play really is the best teaching tool for learning the guitar.

It really is a wonderful website, it has a lot of content, live broadcast from instructors and it goes from beginer to advance, covering several guitar styles and genres along the way. You get the feel of growing as you advance through the lessons, give it a chance.

Once subscribed, they send you a lot of mails. If you unsubscribe, this does not work and they keep on sending. Have send many complaints about this, and they answer it takes 72 hours to unsubscribe but after 3 weeks still receiving!! Verry irritating!

Hi there, I'm really sorry to hear of the issue that you are having. I assure you that this is not a normal part of our business as you can see from past reviews. If you unsubscribed and are still receiving emails, please send me an e-mail directly to [email protected] so I can investigate the cause of this. You should not be receiving e-mails after an unsubscribe and if this is occurring it is a mistake on our part. We take your trust very seriously and will do whatever necessary to make this right.

I haven't played the guitar in 30 years and thought it was time to pick it back up. The beginner lessons are outstanding. Currently doing the Guitar101 lessons. Chris Liepe does an outstanding job of making the lessons fun and interesting. There are learning and practice materials including play alongs with Chris and backing tracks. Note that the guitar 101-104 lessons are live lessons with real time chat question and answers. At the time of this writing 104 is live. I'm doing the archived versions of 101-103. Out of all the gear I purchased to get back into this JamPlay is by far the best investment!

The caliber to teachers are top shelf and each have a wealth of knowledge. The instructors show you how to apply each technique and how it's broken down; best of all ... how to make it yours. I plan to stick with Jam Play for it's no nonsense delivery and solid format. Hats of to the Instructors and Staff at Jam Play for all your efforts. AL+1

I have taken up the guitar again after retiring. I could play a few chords, but am essentially a beginner. I am following both Dave Isaacs and Steve Eulberg's lessons. Both have easy progressive steps that get you playing real music early. Basically, I am having fun and learning. :) Highly recommended.

I have been taking online guitar instructions for about 8 years and in that time have learned from a wide variety of sources. I was immediately drawn to Jam Play due to the quality of their instruction methods, the instructors themselves, video content and overall user friendly experience. If I was to have to make a choice between all the other sources and Jam Play I would definitely select Jam Play.
