Jagex makes great games, but somehow they seem like they do not fix any minor bugs, or glitches. I'm sure they are already aware of this, but tend to focus on only the big problems, unless there is a number of players bugged about it. It's sad to see games like RuneScape go to crap because of gold farmers/bots, bug abuse, etc. I see them every time I log in. Because of hackers, scammers, and money making methods that are now hard to do due to the fact there's over 100 bots in one place, simply just makes the game not worth playing . It would be nice to be able to play RuneScape without experiencing any of those. And to be honest, if it weren't for RuneScape mobile, there would be a continuous decrease in the amount of active players for these reasons. Sorry but this company that was once taken seriously, is now a joke👎. Jagex doesn't even deserve to be given any kind of star for not giving a damn about any of its users. Turned from great to absolute crap. I'll be surprised if this company lasts another decade

Horrible company, account keeps getting banned even if I never play the game, i reset my password multiple times, says to go on support page if account blocked, site won't load, overall a total waste of time. F*** jagex, never playing again.

At one point Jagex used to be great. Now their security and customer service is horrendous. After having an account for 15 years, it was recently hacked and stripped clean. It is impossible to find someone to speak with to try and address the issues. Their help section sends you in one big circle. If you take it to the help section of their forums, their, "mods" or employees just blame it on you, claiming you must not be secure, even if you use the extra security features that they have.If you speak up on their forums, (since it is the only way to communicate,) to express your displeasure with the security issues and the amount hacks that have been reported, they just remove your posts and silence you.

Honestly if I could rate it with 0 stars I would. It’s kind of bull sh it ive been a loyal playing customer on the game runescape for years.. and I get hacked once after all my hard hours of playing just to get hacked of all my money up to 120mil that I once “had” and all of my god armour sets that I once “had” (Ancient, Zamorak, armadyl, bandos, saramdon, guthix, elder rune armour set +4, gilded rune armour set) just to be f-ing told you can’t replace it but yet, if it was a technical issue you’d be happy to replace like stated in your “customer service page” and to be honest i mean it is a technical issue because someone hacked my account and took all of my hard earned sh it.. don’t mean to be so disrespectful but like I said to be told that I can’t get my items back that I hard earned kind of sucks..

After playing this game for several years, I decided to take a break shortly after the introduction of EOC (which drastically changed the game). Even when I was taking a break, I logged in every so often to check in with some old friends that still played the game. Last summer (June 2018) I was in a serious auto accident that left me in the hospital for nearly a month with a fractured spine, broken arm, shattered wrist, and other injuries. When I could finally move my arms again and sit partially upright, I decided to log in to let some of my friends from the game know what happened. When I logged in, to my dismay, I got a notification that my account had been permanently chat restricted for website advertisement. I wasn't sure how this was possible considering that I had never done that, and that the date of the offense was when I was still in the hospital unable to move (and I can prove it). The password for my account was hard to guess and I had never shared it with anybody, so I decided to attempt to reach out to Jagex to see if I could get some help. I explained in an email to customer support what had happened, and the only thing I got from them was an automated response stating that my ban is final and that any attempts to negotiate the ban would be ignored. I was not only furious, I was hurt. It isn't even about playing the game for me, It's about never again being able to talk to all the friends that I had made on there. I can log in and see them playing, but I have no way to communicate with them. That hurts, and I can never forgive Jagex for that.

Very bad customer service. I am not even able to send them an email since they build a 'maze' around it.

I had been a customer for about three months. I went to log on as usual and to my shock was told my account had been permanently banned for using macros. Have no idea what that is. I consider myself a very honest person and would never do anything to take advantage or cheat in any way. What really enraged me was that i cannot defend myself because if you a permanently banned they will not listen to you. I have since cancelled my subscription so i do not get charged for this game. What i would like is for them to clear my name and give me back my account. That would be the honorable thing to do but i cant see that happening so I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of playing this game save yourself a whole lot of grief and pass the by. They are not worth your time or money

Unable to send in support ticket for accessing game, and issue is not present on website, no way to get into contact.
