We sincerely thank Associate Professor Mohammad Vasei for his great comments and recommendation of "Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Ophthalmology" . We greatly appreciate his recognition of our editorial process, constructive peer review, and commitment to supporting authors. He has published several papers with us on the optometry title, "Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation Optometry" We had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Vasei on his PubMed-indexed paper, Ocular injuries sustained at home in five metropolitan cities: a review of 5008 cases. Dr. Shahriari has made valuable contributions to medical research and ophthalmic science, especially in the use of artificial intelligence to help diagnose and classify eye diseases. His work on AI in glaucoma diagnosis, diabetic macular edema, and inherited retinal diseases looks at how new technology may help doctors detect and better understand different eye conditions. The IVORC team had the pleasure of working with Ms Sarah Fawzi Hasan Alshmailawi, an optometrist and researcher from Iraq, on the paper “Antiviral Vector Effects of Ivermectin on COVID-19: An Update,” which was published in the Journal of Cellular & Molecular Anesthesia. She has also contributed to academic research through a paper published in the Journal of Modern Rehabilitation. Despite the difficult circumstnaces in her region, Sarah continues to work in research and contribute to science. Her determination and enthusiam are admirable, and we are always happy to work with her. Thank you, Sarah, for your support and for continuing your academic work even in challenging situations. We are honored to collaborate with Dr. Seyyed Morteza Hosseini and his team on their valuable research, “Strip Meniscometry in Dry Eye Disease: Correlations with Standard Diagnostic Tests,” published in our affiliated journal, Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Optometry. Their study highlights the potential value of strip meniscometry (SMTube) as a simple, non-invasive adjunct in the multimodal assessment of dry eye disease, particularly given its association with tear break-up time (TBUT) and patient-reported symptoms. We are honored to publish papers of A/Prof. Firoozan Narooie (Senior Clinician Scientist at Tehran University of Medical Sciences) and her team on their valuable research, “Wharton's Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Exosomes for Keratoconus: A Pilot Study Evaluating Short-Term Ocular Safety and Feasibility,” that will publish soon in our affiliated PubMed- and Scopus-indexed journal, Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Ophthalmology.
