I am very much honoured to be a member of the editorial board of the journal, whereas I was also given the opportunity to publish my work in the past. A highly recommended journal covering all subspecialties of Ophthalmology and Optometry.

Thank you so much, Dr Thilagavathi, for your kind words! We are really glad that you had a good experience with our team and that our support was helpful during the process. We had the pleasure of publishing your study, "Digital eye strain among the Omani university population: prevalence, contributing factors, and preventive practices", in Medical Hypothesis, Discovery & Innovation in Optometry in 2026. This is an important topic nowadays, especially with students spending so many hours on digital devices. Your study found that the students experienced digital eye strain and highlighted the importance of simple preventive measures to protect eye health. We hope this research will help raise awarness and encourage better screen habits among people and policy makers. Thanks again for trusting and sharing your experience with IVORC Academic Foundation. We really appreciate your studies and hope to work with you again on more interesting projects in the future!

Thank you very much, Professor Ehab Tharwat! We are really happy to hear that you were satisfied. We have had the pleasure of working with you on several research projects, and it has been a great experience. Some of these important studies include: -Efficacy and safety of pilocarpine as a secretagogue versus artificial tears in the management of dry eye disease (2026) -Multilayered fresh amniotic membrane transplantation in resistant fungal corneal ulceration (2025) -Aflibercept or ranibizumab for diabetic macular edema (2024) -Non-penetrating deep sclerectomy versus combined trabeculotomy-trabeculectomy in primary congenital glaucoma (2023) -Comparing the success rate of external dacryocystorhinostomy with anterior flap versus flap excision in managing chronic dacryocystitis (2023) Egypt has many talented ophthalmologists and scientists. Even with the economic difficulties that many researchers face, they continue to work hard and be involved in valuable research for the international community. We really respect this dedication, and Professor Tharwat is a good example of researchers who continue to work hard and contribute to science. Thank you again for your trust. We are glad to have worked with you on these projects and hope to the collaboration in the future!

Response from IVORC Academic FoundationOct 15, 2026
Thank you very much, Professor Andrew White, for your kind words! We are really glad to hear that you found our team easy to work with and responsive. Australia is home to so many great scientists in ophthalmology and optometry, and Australian researchers have made a real difference in eye care and vision science around the world. Your work in glaucoma research, neuroprotection and improving access to eye care is a great example of this. We also had the pleasure of publishing your excellent paper, Role of reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress in the pathomechanism of glaucoma. It is now indexed in PubMed, and we are very pleased to see this important work reaching the scientific community with citations. Your article provides a valuable overview of how oxidative stress contributes to glaucoma and discusses possible directions for future research. Considering your leadership at Westmead Hospital, your work with the Community Eye Care Project in Western Sydney, and your involvement with RANZCO and Australian Vision Research, we would be very interested in expanding our academic collaboration with Australia academic community. We believe there could be some really good opportunities to work together on research and projects that can benefit both researchers and patients. Thanks again, Professor White. We really value our connection with Australian researchers and hope we can develop more opportunities to work together in the future!
