I ordered a storage unit online and was told the $10.00 was included in the monthly rate. I even made her double check and she confirmed it was included. Otherwise I would have canceled. Then when I moved in the $10 was back added additionally to the monthly rate and they blamed it on their customer service rep at the corporate office and said there was nothing they could do. Horrible customer service.

I was headed out of the country and needed things done quickly. I am glad to say things were done quickly and I am glad I used Istorage.

I have been with your RV storage after it was first built. Went by to pick-up RV with out first calling. Found unit with all new batteries completely dead with motor and house shut-off's still closed / in use positions. Since I was told it was on the list of being started by office (2) times/month and field (1) time / month but appeared not at all. BS meter on high since I have had diesel motor computer failure (due improper charging / jumping) and gaskets failures (winter storage without monthly start-ups), all with only (18) thousand miles on engine. Upon explaining the possible service failures to young lady in office, she explained to me how I Storage had no responsibility in my concerns for their procedures. I did notify her that my knowledge with motors was a little bit more (BSME graduate) in response to her excuses of non-responsibility. When I went back the next day after charging, she informed me that I was rude to her and the RV would not start and that I needed to get someone else to move the RV out of their facility since I did not want I Storage to simply jump the batteries. Any further questions would require me to contact the manager in (2) days and that was it. I went home to get my charger and tools, however when I again returned back, RV started without any action on my part. I would like to note, the field person was much more helpful and understanding and respectful to my concerns and procedures and willing to listen. Walter Tyz

I've stored extra household items at a facility in Concord CA for more than 5 years. Last year iStorage bought the facility. They reduced office hours, replaced personal communications with generic corporate email blasts, and (most importantly) raised the rent. In my experience iStorage is a company that you would want to stay away from.

I have been storing my RV at your facility in Naples, FL for the past three years, even before Istorage took over this facility. You had nice elevated pull thru spots with adequate width. You could open you door and put out your slides, no problem. You have since made all of us move our RV's so you could build another building and reassigned us to new spots. I was actually proactive and chose one of the better available spots, however none of them are wide enough. If I pull my RV up too far my neighbor can't even open his door, let alone put out his slides and neither can I. Very disappointing. And you are still charging us the same price for this very poor storage space. You need to eliminate every other space and make the remaining spaces wider. Once again, I am very unhappy and feel your prices are ridiculous for this mini storage space.

On July 22nd, the two times I was at the facility on San Jose, Blvd, Jax, FL, the gate was left open anyone could have driven in and entered the facility where items are stored. The gate is the only controlled access point. Not good!

When I rented my unit I specifically asked how often the rent was increase and was informed, not often. Exactly 6 months later, my rent was increase by over 20 dollars. I was not happy. I called for an explanation and was told that normally increases twice a month. At this point, I'm not in a position to move my things to another storage facility, but that is my goal within the next 2 months. I felt I mislead by members of this facility.

We are going out of the storage because the rent is very high and we been there enough time to have a better rate. Things are getting bad, economy is not good and is too much money at this time.
