We have looked into this for you and see that your order was placed at 7:13PM CDT on 30 June for an item that was to be shipped from one of our store locations. The following morning, 1 July, our fulfillment team was working to prepare your shipment and discovered there had been an incorrect inventory count for the product and it was sold out. We immediately notified you that the item was sold out, refunded your order, and offered you a discount on your next purchase for your inconvenience. Again, we value your trust and we are sorry that we disappointed you. One of our values here at IslandSurf is to always seek improvements. These kind of errors, while rare, are not acceptable to us and we will continue to work so this won't happen again. We have looked into this for you and see that your order was placed at 5:34PM CDT, 30 June. We received your email requesting cancellation on 1 July at 11:58am CDT. Our agents responded to your request at 12:39PM CDT indicating they were attempting to accommodate your cancellation request. Orders process immediately in the automated system once the payment is complete. This is so we can provide the fastest possible shipping and order processing for our customers. However, that rapid movement does not leave much opportunity for making edits to the order, once received. We advised you at 4:35PM CDT, 1 July, that the cancellation request to the shipping warehouse was unsuccessful and provided instruction on how to return your order so that you might receive a refund for the purchase. We understand this was not the result you were hoping for and we are sorry we couldn't further assist you with this circumstance. We have looked into this for you and see that upon notice that an incorrect item had been received for your order, our agents promptly provided a free return label so the product could be returned at no cost to you. As there was no replacement available for the item, a full refund was applied to your order upon receipt of the return. We work hard to minimize inventory discrepancies. Aloha! Thanks for your time to review our service. We have looked into this for you and see that you sent us an email stating the following: I received my shipment. But instead of xl sandals and a large shirt I received only an XL shirt (which I did not order). Please rectify this shipping error as soon as possible as these items are for a gift. We responded providing a FREE return label for the incorrectly sized shirt you received and also provided tracking for the sandals, which are still in transit to you. If you would like a replacement shirt sent to you (in size LARGE), please contact our Customer Care representatives via email at [email protected] or give us a call at 800 272 2065, between the hours of 9am and 4pm CST, Monday through Friday. One of our Islanders will be glad to help you out. If you do not wish to receive a replacement shirt, we will provide a refund for your order once we receive the return item back to us.
