Ordered a sand filter with same model number as my old sand filter. but got a multiport that was completely different. -- update -- they called me and were able to swap the multipport for a price difference. so I appreciate they did that. so I actually had the port that fit.

We were notified when items became available and were delivered within a few days. Items are perfect match to that of approximately 20 years old. Thank you

I appreciated the follow up.

Pump was delivered quickly, installation was not difficult, and my old Pentair plumbing matched the new Pureline pump dimensions. Motor runs well and programming the variable speed was easy and it works fine. Three minor imperfections: (1) the threading on the motor did not fit the threading on the electrical conduit connector very well (plus the Pureline motor requires a straight connector which is a bit awkward), (2) there is already a chip in the clear plastic filter cover which is hopefully not a sign of a future problem, and (3) despite the fact that this is an Energy Star rated pump, there is no Energy Star sticker on the pump (which is required for me to get a rebate from my local power company). For the great price of the pump, these are minor problems and the real test will be how durable the pump and motor are in the long run. So far, so good!

Edit I received a replacement pump and it works great. I didn't have to return the defective pump. 4 stars as the whole process took 3 weeks. Ordered a new pump and it was defective. I requested for a return and refund twice within the 30 days. I still not received any email about returning for 10 days.

Hello Michael - We apologize for the inconvenience. It looks like we resolved this and shipped a replacement pump. I agree that the process took longer than it should have. We were working on solutions to speed up the warranty replacements.

Actually, I gave the rating four stars instead of five because the product arrived after this email was sent to me, indicating that the product should have arrived before the email.

The exact product I needed, it was hard to find. A bit on the pricey side but, what I needed, lots of counterfeits out there. Easy ordering, fast shipping. Would order from INYO pools again.
