Wow! 2 1/2 years have passed, and I now have a premium variable speed pump without a display! I guess I thought reputable dealers and manufacturers would stand behind their products...not so. 18 month warranty, somebody must know these motors are crap! Maybe just the electronics are crap. Even my well water pump has a longer warranty, and the old Northstar pool pump I had went 10 years. I do not recommend any of these "Vgreen" variable speed "Pureline" pumps sold here. They seem to push this pump hard, so there must be some additional incentives from the manufacturer for them to push this crap

On the face of it one would think this company, Inyo Pools, was great. They have great "how to" videos posted and blogs etc. but their customer service is absolutely terrible. Wish I had visited BBB and site jabber before starting to deal with them. I had a pool pump fail over a weekend. I sent in a email request on how to change out to a compatible variable speed pump which has gone unanswered to this day (over a week later). Because they seemed to have good techs to help with this problem I thought maybe because of the weekend they missed it so sent is a chat box request on Monday. This is what they recommend on their own phone answering message. Response - no one was there to answer. So I called and waited on hold for 20 mins plus only to get some tech geek with zero manners and after a very frustrating phone conversation got the information I needed and subsequently ordered the pump motor. Then I sat there waiting for the motor to ship. After two days nothing seemed to have happened so I sent in an email information request about this which was answered and I was told it would ship that day. Which it did. But I felt like if I had not questioned why the motor had not shipped it may never have happened. Thankfully all went well with the motor swap out and I am happy about the overall outcome. I do not like writing negative reviews, as I know they can damage a business. But sometimes I feel like other people need to be warned about bad companies doing business on the internet. There is obviously something wrong with the way this company is doing business. Its either money, the people they have and/or cannot retain, or they are just playing the "middle man". There are too many clients out there writing negative reviews which all seem to strike a similar complaint. They do seem to be very good at responding to the complaints but why not do something to ward them off in the first place. I will NOT use this company again and recommend others to steer clear.

I paid them $2000.00 for a pool liner. I never got the liner, they won't refund my $2000.00, and won't answer the phone. I have filed a comaint with the better business bureau! Buyer beware

A part is missing and I contacted the company immediately. After sending multiple photos of the item, at their request, I was told my issue would be passed along to the warehouse. I haven’t heard from anyone since and still have a $200+ caddy that is missing a clip for the power source.

I ordered a replacement pool filter for my spa back in July. It was received in a damaged box and the filter was also damaged. I contacted company. No response but a replacement filter showed up a few weeks later. A few weeks after that UPS showed up at my door to pick the damaged filter. I was never made aware of the replacement coming or the UPS pick up. In meantime I had purchased a new filter from another source. The second filter they sent was the wrong product. Instead of a 150 they sent a 139. I have contacted their customer service several times with zero response. What am I suppose to do with wrong part and I would like either a replacement with part ordered or a full refund. All I hear is crickets. I highly recommend ordering from a more responsive and reputable company.

Wrote an article stating it was the right motor. It wasn't. Wanted to return. No response. Tried many different ways. $280 scam I guess. Now I'm going to BBB and other major review sites. Messed with the wrong person.

Sent package with no item in it and does not respond. Lost 143 dollars.

I ordered a pool " start up kit" to balance my pool water after we had to drain it to do some surface patching. No instructions at all, a bunch of bottles and packets and no idea what to do with them. Engaged chat agent, sat here forever waiting for canned type answers with no real answer to my question. I am a repeat customer and was just getting ready to order a pool heater from them, thank goodness I learned they place zero value on their customers before doing that !
